Joe Serock raised to 1,000,000 in middle position and Brian Rast called in the big blind.
The flop came J♥6♣5♥ and Serock bet 700,000. Rast then raised to 2,100,000 and Serock called.
Both players checked the K♣ turn and Rast also checked the 3♣ river. Serock then moved all in and Rast, with 11,225,000 remaining, quickly folded.
Andres Gonzalez raised to 1,000,000 in middle position with K♥8♥, and Jason James called in the big blind with A♣J♥.
Gonzalez continued for 700,000 on the J♠J♦J♣ flop and James called. Both players checked the 5♦ turn.
James led out for 2,200,000 on the 10♥ river and Gonzalez folded.
Brian Kim raised to 1,000,000 from middle position and was three-bet by Boris Angelov in the hijack to 2,750,000.
Kim released his cards when it got back to him, awarding the pot to Angelov without a flop.
Guillermo Sanchez Otero opened to 1,000,000 from the cutoff before calling a three-bet to 4,000,000 from Niklas Astedt out of the big blind.
Astedt continued for 4,500,000 on the 8♥4♣6♠ flop but was unable to shake off Otero, who flatted.
Action checked through the 7♦ turn to the 3♦ where Astedt checked once more. Otero checked back and Astedt tabled Q♠3♠, which was good enough to take down a large pot.
Yake Wu opened to 1,000,000 from under the gun and Malcolm Franchi three-bet to 2,900,000 out of the big blind. Wu responded with a four-bet that would force Franchi all in with the Frenchman quickly calling off for his tournament life.

Everything looked set for a chop with not much changing on the A♣9♠7♣ flop. The J♣ turn suddenly made things uncomfortable for Franchi as he would need to fade the club on the river just to chop the pot. Fortunately for him, the river came 10♥ to send the chips back to their respective owner's stacks.
In a limped pot between the blinds, Jason Sagle and Diogo Coelho checked to the river on a board of 6♠9♦3♠2♥4♦.
Sagle then bet 800,000 and Coelho called. Sagle showed J♥5♦ for a rivered straight and Coelho mucked.
Malo Latinois raised to 1,800,000 in the small blind before Jessie Bryant three-bet to 4,300,000 in the big blind. Latinois called and the dealer spread the flop of 10♦5♠K♠.
Latinois checked, Bryant bet 3,100,000, and Latinois called. On the K♦ turn, Bryant jammed all in for around 16,000,000 chips. Latinois quickly let it go, however, and the pot was shipped to Bryant.
Boris Angelov opened to 1,000,000 from under the gun with A♠4♠ and Brian Kim defended in the big blind with Q♣J♥.
Kim checked on the flop of 2♠K♥10♥ and Angelov continued for 700,000. Kim called. Kim checked again on the J♣ turn and Angelov sized up to 2,500,000. Kim called.
Kim checked once more on the 7♠ river and Angelov bet a hefty 7,400,000. Kim laid it down.
Jonathan Tamayo raised to 1,000,000 in early position before Andres Gonzalez three-bet to 2,500,000 on the button. Tamayo then moved all in and Gonzalez snap-called for 10,250,000.

Gonzalez had woken up with kings and was a big favorite to double up. The 9♦4♠2♣ didn't help Tamayo, while Gonzalez stayed in the lead through the J♣ turn and 5♥ river to earn the pot and knock Tamayo down to a short stack.
Brian Kim, with A♣10♣, opened to 1,150,000 from under gun and Yegor Moroz called in the big blind with 6♦3♦.
The flop of 4♠9♥6♣ checked through and Moroz checked again on the K♣ turn and Kim bet 1,700,000. Moroz called.
Moroz checked again on the Q♠ river and Kim checked back as Moroz showed the winner to bring chants of "Yegor! Yegor!" from his rail.
