The Rich Get Richer

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thomas Boivin raised it up from under the gun and Christopher Puetz three-bet on his left. The action folded back to Boivin who four-bet shoved all in and Puetz called off his stack of around 700,000.

Christopher Puetz: AKAll in
Thomas Boivin: 1010

It turned out to be a coin flip and the pair of tens was still best through the Q64 flop. The 2 on the turn changed nothing and the 3 on the river also bricked, bouncing Puetz from the tournament.

"The rich get richer," Martin Kabrhel chimed in after just joining the table.

Davies Wins a Small One

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Emilien Pitavy raised to 60,000 from the hijack, and both Seth Davies and Danny Tang called from the blinds.

Action checked to Pitavy on the 2K7 flop, and he continued for 55,000. Davies called, and Tang folded.

Davies to go against the flow of play on the 4 turn, leading into Pitavy for 80,000. This was enough to take the pot as Pitavy returned his cards to the dealer.

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Picking up the action on the turn with the board reading Q934, Alex Kulev checked from the big blind and Landon Tice splashed in a bet of 120,000 in the cutoff. Kulev called and the 8 completed the board.

Kulev checked again and Tice announced all in as the big stack. Kulev didn't miss a beat before calling off his stack of around 450,000. Tice whipped over J10 for the nut straight while Kulev was left with Q10 for just top pair.

Daniel Negreanu

Martin Kabrhel moved all in for around 275,000 from the button. Daniel Negreanu jammed from the small blind for a little more, which pushed out the big blind.

Martin Kabrhel: J10All in
Daniel Negreanu: AK

Kabhrel paired up to take the lead on the 1037 flop and was about to leave Kid Poker on a nub of a stack after the 6 turn.

"Ha Ha!" shouted Negreanu after he sealed the checkmark from spiking the A river for a better pair.

Kabrhel quickly departed, with Negreanu telling him he'll send him a book of all the mistakes he made.

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

Danny Tang opened to 60,000 in the hijack and was called by Joao Vieira in the cutoff along with Bryn Kenney in the big blind. The flop came KJ5 and Tang continued with a bet of 50,000. Vieira called and Kenney check-raised to 230,000. Both Tang and Vieira stuck around for the 4 on the turn.

Kenney used a time bank before jamming all in for 430,000. Tang quickly folded but Vieira called just as fast. Kenney flipped over 64 for a flush but Vieira held 87 for a bigger one. The 9 on the river was insignificant and Kenney headed to the rail.

Sneaky, Sneaky

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Brandon Stephen raised from the hijack to 75,000, and both Jason Koon and Nacho Barbero called from the blinds.

All three players checked the 1092 flop, and when Koon checked again on the 2 turn, Barbero bet 200,000. Stephen quickly got out of the way, but Koon stuck around to see the river.

Koon checked again on the A river, and after a moment, Barbero also checked.

Koon showed A5 for the nut flush, and Barbero mucked his hand.

Boivin Continues to Build

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Chip leader Thomas Boivin opened to 60,000 from the hijack, and when action folded to Orpen Kisacikoglu in the small blind, he moved all in for 390,000. Boivin called, and the players went to a showdown.

Orpen Kisacikoglu: A9 All in
Thomas Boivin: 44

The 5J5 flop added to Kisacikoglu's outs, offering the opportunity to counterfeit Boivin.

The 7 turn added three more outs, but the river 6 ensured the pot was pushed the way of Boivin, and Kisacikoglu headed to the exit.

Hennigan Departs Thanks to Wittmeyer

Level 12 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

John Hennigan, in the big blind, had a fresh 600,000 starting stack and used some of it to call Manuel Fritz's raise to to 60,000.

Hennigan then check-folded to a bet of 40,000 on the K52 flop.

On the next deal, Fritz opened from the hijack before Hennigan three-bet to 210,000. Brandon Wittmeyer moved all in as the big stack from the big blind, which folded out Fritz. Hennigan, however, called for his tournament life.

Brandon Wittmeyer: 9x9x

Hennigan whiffed the 1074 flop and was drawing dead after Wittmeyer made a set on the 9 turn. The 8 river completed the board to mark the end of Johnny World's run.
