Jonathan Bowers made another all-in call, this time against Mei Seow.
Mei Seow: A♥Q♥7♠3♠
Jonathan Bowers: A♦Q♦4♠4♦
Bowers' pocket pair of fours was enough to earn the win on a board runout of 6♥6♠5♦2♥8♦

Christopher Vitch, the returning champion in the event, was one of two players at risk in a three-person pot, putting his last 43,500 chips on the table right after the dinner break.
Esther Taylor: Q♦10♦9♥8♥
Christopher Vitch: A♥K♣10♣3♣
Thanh Tran: A♠K♠Q♣7♠
The board runout 5♦7♣A♣K♦9♣ had Vitch tied with Tran with two pair on the turn, but Taylor had a ton of outs with her double-gutter straight and diamond flush draws. Vitch hit the top straight on the river to get a new lease on his tournament life.
Jesse Lonis raised to 5,000 from under the gun and saw calls from Marcus Shepard in early position, Yuan Yu in middle position and Yuhong Liu on the button. Robert Matuszewski then raised to 17,000 from the small blind, and all players called except for Shepard,
The flop came 2♦8♥Q♦ and Matuszewski moved all in, which triggered every other player to also move their stacks into the middle. Liu had all players covered, and various side pots were pulled in.
Robert Matuszewski: A♥A♦9♦2♣
Jesse Lonis: K♥5♥8♦7♦
Yuan Yu: A♠K♣10♠4♦
Yuhong Liu: Q♣Q♠6♣6♥
Liu was way ahead with his set of queens and needed to dodge a diamond to scoop the massive pot and send three players to the rail. The 4♠ dropped on the turn, and when the 2♠ came on the river and filled Liu up, he scooped the pot and sent Lonis, Matuszewski, and Yu packing.

Simeon Tsonev picked the wrong time to go all in. Lukas Hafner had the better of it from the start.
Simeon Tsonev: Q♣J♠8♠6♥
Lukas Hafner: A♦A♥6♠5♣
Tsoney drew life with two pai on the flop, but was turned over by the turn on a board Q♥5♥J♣5♠K♣, as Hafner had a five to go with the pair of them on the board.
Before the flop, Julian Velador raised the pot to 5,200 from under the gun. Action folded to Pom Jun in late position who re-potted to 14,400. Velador made the call.
The board brought a rainbow of 9♠6♦9♥ which Jun promptly bet out 20,000. After almost looking as though he was going to release his hand, Velador folded and Jun showed him the 9♣ and pitched his cards to the dealer.
Daniel Tordjman has worked his way up the leaderboard, and it is the first time he has done so at a WSOP event. But the 34-year-old European is no stranger to deep runs in PLO events. Hendon MOb lists him with nearly $850,000 in live cash earnings.
Earlier this year, he led much of the way before finishing third in a European tournament.
"I'm not an expert, but I like this game," Tordjman said.
Tordjman chipped up by taking down a massive pot when he flopped three fives in a three-way pot and called an all-in shove on the river from almost 50,000 chips.
