Kyte tanked for a few minutes and eventually folded as Sternheimer took the pot.

On the last hand of No Limit 2-7 Single Draw, Dan Smith raised to 25,000 from the cutoff and was called by Ali Eslami from the buttom. Smith drew one while Eslami stood pat.

After receiving his draw, Smith bet 100,000 leaving 17,000 behind. Eslami thought briefly before calling.

"Pair," announced Smith, who was reduced to crumbs after Eslami tabled 9x7x5x4x3x.

Stud Hi-Lo

On the first hand of Stud Hi-Lo, Smith paid his ante and was then the bring-in, meaning he was left with 5,000.

Jeremy Ausmus completed and the action folded back to Smith who put in the last of his chips.

Ausmus started with split eights and ended up making eights and sixes after he received all of his cards.

Smith had just a pair of fours, and had no chance of making a low. He needed king, queen, ten or four to stay alive but the A♦ was not what he wanted to see and marked the end of his tournament.

Bryn Kenney opened to 30,000 from the button and called when Matt Glantz three-bet to 85,000 from the big blind.

Kenney called a bet of 85,000 on the J♠8♠3♣ flop, bringing in the 4♥ turn. Glantz sized up to 325,000 and after some time in the tank, Kenney folded.

"How much to see your hand?" asked Kenney, with Glantz replying that it didn;t matter as he would've wanted to see Kenney's hand, which had already gone into the muck.

"King-jack of hearts," answered Kenney, with Glantz later telling him he had kings.

"I was waiting for the dealer. I took five seconds," Yeh countered.
