Sanechika was in terrible shape for her tournament's life, but she found a board Q♦10♠5♣4♠A♣ to hit an ace on the river and double her stack.
Players were heads-up on the river, looking at a 2♦K♣7♠5♣6♠ runout. The pot stood at around 650,000, and Elisa Nakagawa had moved all in for her remaining 350,000. Action was on Juliet Hegedus to her direct left.
Hegedus said "Ok, you have a deal" before folding and showing her hand K♥Q♣ for top pair.
Nakagawa showed 9♥2♥ for bottom pair, having forced Hegedus to fold the best hand.
Hegedus remarked, "Wow...you picked the right opponent for that one."
Una Kelly limped in the small blind, and Ruth Hall checked her option in the big blind.
The flop came 8♦6♥10♦. Kelly check-called Hall's bet of 50,000, leading them to the turn.
The turn J♠ fell, and Kelly led with 100,000, which was enough to make Hall fold.
All the chips went in the middle preflop between Xinwen Zhang, at risk with a short stack of 250,000 and Dorothy Ecaldre.
Zhang had the best starting hand with A♦K♥, as Ecaldre held A♥10♦, but the board revealed 3♥6♠10♥9♣J♥ to give a pair of tens to Ecaldre and eliminate Zhang.
Lisa Thumm started the action with a 50,000 in middle position. Sonia Shashikhina raised to 200,000, and Thumm called.
The dealer flopped 2♥10♣Q♥. Shashikhina fired 160,000 and Thumm announced all-in. Shashikhina snap-called, putting Thumm's tournament life on the line.

Once the hands were tabled, the players at the table groaned sympathetically for Thumm. The runout of 6♥9♠ didn't help Thumm at all. The ladies hugged, and Thumm left the table as the dealer pushed the pot towards Shashikhina.

In a hand just before the break, Janet Kanstrup opened from under the gun and Diana Shamshoum called from the cutoff. Robbi Jade Lew moved all in on the button for around 185,000 and both players called behind.
The 4♦3♥4♣ flop was checked to the 3♠ turn. Kanstrup bet 100,000 and Shamshoum called.
Kanstrup bet out 250,000 on the J♣ river, prompting Shamshoum to fold.
