Katerina Lukina raised under the gun to 80,000 and Diana Shamshoum called next to her, before Shiina Okamoto three-bet to 280,000 on the button. Only Shamshoum called.
The flop gave 5♥K♦5♠ and Shamshoum check-raised to 350,000 Okamoto's continuation of 150,000. The latter called.
The turn was the 10♠ and Shamshoum bet 300,000, which Okamoto called.
The 2♠ completed the board. Shamshoum bet 200,000, and Okamoto moved all in. Shamshoum asked for a count, and when the dealer confirmed it was 510,000, she folded, mistakenly thinking she needed to call the full 510,000 rather than 310,000 more. After the hand, Shamshoum said she would have called if she’d realized the correct amount.
Diana Shamshoum raised under the gun to 100,000 and Shiina Okamoto three-bet to 300,000 in the cutoff. Both Dorothy Ecaldre on the button and Shamshoum called.
The flop appeared 2♠A♠9♠ and it checked to Okamoto who shoved with the biggest stack. Only Elcadre made the call all in and they tabled their cards:
Dorothy Ecaldre: A♥J♥
Shiina Okamoto: A♦K♦
Ecaldre's hand was dominated and she busted after the 10♣3♠ completed the board.
Stephani Hagberg opened to 80,000 in middle position and got a caller in Tanith Rothman in the big blind.
They both saw a flop of 10♦K♣7♣. Rothman check-called Hagberg's bet of 80,000 to see the next card. The turn fell 6♥ and Rothman led with a 125,000 bet which prompted Hagberg to muck her hand.
Diana Shamshoum open-shoved in early position for a remaining stack around 750,00 and Juliet Hegedus quickly made the call next to her. The rest of the table folded.
Diana Shamshoum: A♣K♣
Juliet Hegedus: A♠A♦
Shamshoum was in terrible shape for a double up, and the board improved even more Hegedus' hand with A♥J♥J♦6♥4♣ to bust Shamshoum from the event.
In the first hand after the two table redraw, Janet Kanstrup moved all in for her remaining 810,000 stack from early position and was called by Heather Alcorn who covered.
Janet Kanstrup: A♥Q♠
Heather Alcorn: Q♣Q♥
Kanstrup needed to find something on the board but missed on the 2♣5♥7♣J♥7♦ runout.
After the hand Alcorn remarked "You are the best dealer ever" as she held with her queens.
