Katie Lindsay raised to 1,000 from under the gun and was called by Andre Akkari from directly behind and David Farber in the cutoff for a three-way pot.
Lindsay continued for 2,000 on the 4♠8♥4♦ flop, which got a call from Akkari and a fold from Farber.
Akkari called a 4,000 barrel from Lindsay on the 2♣ turn and quickly called after Lindsay put him all in for his last 12,700 on the A♠ river.
Lindsay turned over A♣J♦ for aces-up, but Akkari had it beat with A♥4♥ for a full house — awarding Akkari the double up.
Five players saw a flop of 6♥10♦4♠ and action checked all the way through. The same happened on the A♥ turn, which brought in the Q♣ river.
Here, two players checked to Fabrice Maltez, who decided to stab for 2,200. Paris Sitzoukis on his direct left called, and the other three folded. Maltez shrugged and showed 3♥3♣ for sixth pair, meaning Sitzoukis' A♦J♦ was good enough to take in the pot. "Got him" he said as he collected his chips.
Takao Shimizu raised to 1,200 on the button. Asaf Benshushan made it 4,300 in the small blind, which Thad McNulty cold-called in the big blind. Shimizu also called, leading to the 8♣7♦A♣ flop.
Benshushan continued for 3,500, McNulty called, but Shimizu raised to 10,000. Benshushan snap-folded, but McNulty stuck around and called.
The 10♣ turn then checked through to the 2♣ river, where McNulty led out for 10,000. Shimizu called off after some debate, but he mucked his cards in defeat when McNulty tabled A♥Q♦ for top pair.
Shimizu was left with 15,000 chips, which he lost only a few hands later to be eliminated from the Main Event.
Steve Sebbag raised to 1,100 from early position. Both Lucas Silva Bandeira and Steven O'nan stuck in the call.
On a flop of K♦8♠K♥ he continued with a downbet to 600, and only Bandeira peeled another one. The turn J♣ checked through, bringing in the river J♦. Sebbag led out again here, for 4,300, and Bandeira debated his decision for a few minutes, before flicking in a chip.
"I had you" he said, mucking after seeing Sebbag's A♠J♠. O'nan went on to bust out a few hands later.
Christopher Daub was already all in as Conor Beresford and Jeffrey Gencarelli went to a flop of 8♥10♣5♥ with around 25,000 in the pot. Gencarell then bet 8,000 and Beresford folded.
Christopher Daub: A♥10♦
Jeffrey Gencarelli: J♣J♦
Daub had flopped top pair, but he was behind Gencarelli's jacks and was at risk of elimination. The turn came the A♣ to give Daub two pair and the lead, while the river was the Q♣ to secure his triple up.
"I guess I'll be here a little longer, gentlemen," Daub told his tablemates.
Daniel Bedson opened to 1,000 from under the gun and Evan Clark called from middle position. Eyal Yanai also called the button, and Alexandre Vuilleumier defended the big blind.
The 2♦4♦10♠ flop saw Vuilleumier check and Bedson bet 1,900. Clark raised to 6,000. Yanai and Vuilleumier folded. Bedson made the call, taking the players heads-up to the turn.
The 7♥ turn saw Bedson check, and Clark flicked in a 25,000 chip, putting Bedson all in for his remaining 24,500.
Bedson considered before making the call.
Daniel Bedson: A♠A♣
Evan Clark: 10♥10♦
Clark had flopped a set of tens, and Bedson needed to see an Ace on the river to stay alive.
The dealer placed the 4♠ river which sent Bedson home, and Clark got a near double up.
Niklas Astedt raised under the gun to 900, but when action folded to Christopher Roat in the hijack, he announced "Raise" before throwing in a 1,000 chip. A couple of players at the table then advised the dealer that Roat should be held to a raise of 1,400. Roat had no objections and put 1,400 into the middle.
Action then folded back to Astedt, who had new information to work with. After taking a second, he four-bet to 4,500 and Roat called, putting an end to the preflop drama.
Roat commented that this dynamic is a good way of getting yourself into trouble, before the two players went to a flop.
Astedt continued with a bet of 1,500 on the 7♦7♣9♣ flop, which was met with a raise to 4,500 by Roat. The clicking wasn't over yet, though, as Astedt three-bet to 12,000. This put an end to the hand, as Roat immediately returned his cards to the dealer.
There were roughly 7,000 chips in the pot on a flop of Q♥10♠2♠8♥, Kilen Nhoung bet 2,500 on the turn from early position, Michael Berk called on the button.
Nhoung slowed down with a check on the 4♥ river, but found herself in a bit of spot as Berk announced all in for 27,000. Nhoung took her time before she eventually made the fold.
