Bunch's Ladies Win Him the Pot

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
John Bunch
John Bunch

John Bunch came in with a raise to 1,300 from middle position and only Viktor Blom called from the big blind.

Blom knuckled the action over to Bunch on the 26A flop, and Bunch bet 1,300. Blom quickly called.

The 2 turn and 8 river checked through and Bunch revealed the winner with QQ, as Blom showed K6 for just a pair of sixes.

Welsh Will Not Be World Champion

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

After several preflop raises, Kyle Welsh's stack of 36,300 was in the middle from under the gun against Mamoon Al Rubayee in the big blind, who had him covered.

Kyle Welsh: QQ All in
Mamoon Al Rubayee: AA

The 108338 board provided no help for either player, sending Welsh to the exit.

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Vanessa Selbst
Vanessa Selbst

As Vanessa Selbst was delivered two Fiji waters, the 329102 board was completed by the dealer. Marc Evanier then bet 7,000 into the pot of 13,500, which Selbst raised to 24,300 after some thought.

Evanier spent some minutes in the tank, but eventually called off. Selbst showed KK for kings and deuces, and Evanier complimented his opponent's hand as he sent his cards to the muck.
