Mark Spradlin raised it up from under the gun and Brandon Takao shipped all in for roughly 13,000 in middle position. The action folded back to Spradlin who quickly called to put Takao at risk.

The flop came 9♦8♥5♦ and Takao picked up a flush draw against Spradlin's pocket aces. The 9♣ on the turn and the 7♥ on the river were no help to Takao who was bounced from the Main Event.
Players were already heads-up on the 7♥5♥3♥ flop with a pot of around 40,000. Paul Douglass moved all in for his remaining 28,500 and action was on Daemon Richardson to make the call or fold.
Richardson moved chips over the line and the players flipped their cards. Richardson went first and said, "I don't even know what I am up against" as he waited for Douglass to show his hand, not realising he has been called.

Richardson was ahead, and things stayed that way on the 9♣ turn and 8♦ river, sending Douglass home.
The board showed Q♠A♦K♠J♦6♦ with more than 60,000 in the middle when Shohei Isaka fired a bet of 58,500. Farzad Bonyadi thought about it for a minute before calling.
Isaka tabled 4♠5♠ and the nice pot was sent to Bonyadi who turned over A♠A♣ for a set of aces.
Heads-up on a flop of Q♠7♠8♥, Jacob Beck bet 6,500 from early position and Joshua Boulton raised to 18,000 in the big blind. Beck then reraised to 35,500 and Boulton called.
The turn was the 5♠ and Boulton led out for 22,000. Beck called to see the 6♠ river as both players slowed down and checked.
Boulton showed 10♦9♠ for a rivered flush, and Beck tossed 8♦8♣ into the muck.
The action was picked up with Matthew Franklin all-in holding 9♠9♥, facing a call from Nicholas Rigby who tabled J♦8♥ on a 2♦9♣J♥ flop. Franklin had flopped middle set, leaving Rigby in rough shape with limited outs to score the knockout.
The A♥ turn and 5♦ river changed nothing, and Franklin secured the double-up to stay in the mix.
Damon Kroupa got his 115,000 chips in preflop and was at risk against Steven Brooks, who had him covered.

Li Zhang opened the action from early position to 3,000. Thomas Metz on his direct left shoved for 23,000, and Zhang called when action got back to him

Metz ended up rivering Broadway on the Q♣K♦9♠4♦10♦ runout to keep his Main Event dreams alive.
Benjamin Souriau opened to 3,000, which was promptly met by an Adrian Mateos three-bet to 9,000. Souriau called, and the two went to a flop.
The postflop action was short and sweet, as Souriau surrendered the pot following a Mateos continuation-bet of 13,000.
Donald Delancy raised and called a three-bet from Sergio Da Silva Veloso to go see a flop 2♦10♥6♣. Delancy check-called Veloso's continuation for 11,000.
The 3♥ turn and 7♥ river brought no betting action and Delancy tabled 8♣9♣ for the straight. Velose quickly mucked his cards.
Brandon Paddock raised to 3,500 from early position only to face a three-bet to 6,500 from John Pointer in middle position. Paddock then four-bet all in for 35,000, and Pointer snap called.
