On the river 10♠, Gunn shot out 5,100. Nakai called just to muck his hand after Gunn showed K♣J♦ for a straight.
Viktor Blom raised from early position to 2,600, and only Brian Wardrup called, defending his big blind.
Playing in flow, Wardrup checked to Blom on the J♥Q♥A♦ flop. Blom placed a bet of 3,000, which Wardrup called.
Both players checked the 10♥ turn, and the dealer flipped over a 4♦ river card.
Wardrup led out with a bet of 8,500, and after a small pause for thought, Blom called.
Wardrup tabled 6♥5♥ for a flush, and Blom mucked his cards.
The board 4♠K♠2♠J♦5♦ was already dealt when Sonke Jahn made a bet, with only a few chips behind, and Ernest Hou shoved.
Jahn called all in and tabled Q♠10♠ for the flush. It wasn't good enough as Hou showed A♠3♠ for the nut flush and Jahn made his way to the exit.
Tyler Moncek was one of many players to take advantage of the advanced late registration today and had run up a profit already. However, all of that vanished when he took on Mark Villegas. On a board of Q♣7♥2♥6♥J♣, Villegas check-called a bet of 25,000 by Moncek who revealed the J♠10♥.
Villegas had that beat with the Q♥8♣ in the big blind and leaped to a very healthy stack.
David Yonnotti and Joseph Bishop were the only two players contesting a pot, with 32,000 in the middle. They arrived to the turn with the board reading Q♥2♥3♦A♦ and Bishop had the all in button in front of him. Covered, Yonnotti had to make a decision for his tournament life, and he ultimately landed on a call.

Yonnotti had top pair, the nut flush draw, and a gutshot. Bishop had an inferior flush draw, but a better gutshot. That being said, only a non-heart king would give him the knockout. "You have me, good game, man," said Bishop, making what came next all the more painful. The K♣ peeled off on the river, as "Woah!" could be heard around the table. Yonnotti left gracefully, offering a "GG" to his table.
John Garza woke up to 8♦8♣ and raised to 2,600 under the gun. In late position, Collin Ball three-bet to 8,000 with A♥9♥. The flop dropped 2♦3♠6♥.
Both players checked, leading them to the 5♠ turn. Garza checked. Ball took his time before betting 9,000, sending Garza to think for few seconds before making the call.
The river 8♠ gave Garza a set which he checked. Ball checked after.
David Cabrera Polop raised to 2,700 in the cutoff and in the small blind, Ritvars Cekalins three-bet to 13,000 which saw Polop call.
The flop rolled out 8♠9♣Q♣ and Cekalins bet 9,000 to see Polop call.
Cekalins sized up to 32,500 on the turn 7♦ and Polop called once more.
On the river A♠, Cekalins bet again to the tune of 100,000 and Polop wasted little time in calling.
Polop tabled 8♥8♣ for a set of eights which was good for the pot against Cekalins K♠J♣ for just king-high.
