Wilson Choses Not to Bluff the River

Three players saw the dealer reveal a flop of 5♥Q♣8♥ where everyone checked for the 5♦ to appear on the turn. Peter Bobro checked from the small blind, but Brock Wilson led out for 4,000 from the big blind. Hiren Patel called on the button and Bobro folded.

The 2♦ landed on the river and both players checked. Wilson showed a busted draw with J♥9♥, and lost the pot to Patel's K♥8♠ for a pair of eights.

Three ways on a flop of K♣2♣Q♥, Carl Brewington and Gus Hansen were already all in against Luciano Sztulman, who had both players covered. Hansen had the smallest stack with a bit over 30,000, while Brewington had well over 100,000.

Brewington had the best of it with two pair against Hansen's top pair and Sztulman's middle pair with a flush draw, but the 2♠A♥ runout paired both Sztulman's and Hansen's ace — leaving Hansen best with top two pair for the main pot while Sztulman took the side with aces and queens.

The flop rolled out 5♦8♣5♣ and Bohlman checked over to Yamagishi who bet 1,100 to see Bohlman call.

Both players checked the turn 9♣ to the river 6♥. Bohlman checked over to Yamagishi who bet 1,500.

Bohlman called after some thought and mucked after seeing Yamagishi turn over K♠7♣ for a rivered straight.

Andrew McIlvain raised from the hijack to 2,000, the player on the button called before Kristen Foxen raised to 10,000 in the big blind.

McIlvain responded by moving all in for roughly 65,000. The button player folded, but Foxen made the call.

As the shorter stack, with roughly 59,000, Foxen was the player at risk.

It was a bad start for Foxen on the K♣9♦8♥ flop, as McIlvain improved to top pair.

Jose Bogarin and Todd Brunson just got into a preflop raising war from the blinds, which resulted in Brunson shoving his stack of 40,000. Bogarin instantly called to put the Hall of Famer at risk.

A bit of a cooler for Brunson, who needed a queen to stay in the tournament. However, the runout of J♦9♥5♦5♣10♦ didn't help Brunson, and all of his chips headed over to Bogarin.

Ryan Robinson opened to 2,100 from middle position and got a call from Heitor Saraiva in middle position and Jim Collopy in the small blind.

The 7♣10♠9♦ flop was checked to Saraiva who bet 3,000 and only Collopy called.

A 7♠ was turned and Collopy check-called Saravia's 4,500 bet.

The 8♣ well on the river and Collopy check-raised to 25,000 after Saraiva bet 6,000.

Saraiva made the call and Collopy showed 9♠8♠ for two pair. Saravia turned over the K♣J♣ having rivered the striaght.

The action was joined as Antony Cragg and Kristen Foxen were contesting a pot worth roughly 14,000.

The flop action was already complete with K♣10♦6♦ on their backs in the middle.

The dealer burned and turned the 5♥ turn card, and Cragg continued for a bet of 12,100, which Foxen called.

Both players then saw the J♣ complete the board, and Cragg kept his foot firmly on the accelerator, moving all in. Foxen was the shorter of the two stacks, with roughly 50,000 remaining.

Foxen went deep into the tank. Stuck in an unenviable position so early on Day 2, she took seven minutes before reaching a decision. She returned her cards to the dealer face down, but did let Cragg know she had folded a set of sixes.

"Casino royale!" Miholich proclaimed as he attempted to summon some Martin Kabrhel run-good.

The 10♠7♣2♦ gave Miholich some backdoors but he still needed some help to survive.

"Need to see some paint," Miholich begged as the dealer completed the board with 3♥8♠ and Miholich was left with king-high.

Miholich exclaimed "Not like that!" once the river card was dealt, and he earned some laughs from the room on his way to the rail.
