Patricia Moore went all in from the cutoff against Joseph Henry in the big blind.
Patricia Moore: Q♥Q♣
Joseph Henry: J♠10♠
Moore hit a set on the flop, but disaster was waiting on the turn. The runout of K♠9♥Q♠A♠3♦ gave Henry the rare royal flush and the knockout.
Anton Wigg made it 3,500 from the cutoff and only Brandon Eisen called from the big blind.
Eisen knuckled the action over to Wigg on the 9♥8♠4♥ flop, and Wigg bet 5,000. Eisen tossed in the call.
The 2♦ came on the turn and Eisen checked again. Wigg threw out an overbet of 25,000, which caused Eisen to ponder for a while before making the call.
Eisen checked for the last time on the A♦ river and Wigg immediately checked behind. Eisen tabled 10♣10♦ for a pair of tens, but lost the pot to Wigg's A♣3♥ for a rivered pair of aces.
Valentyn Shabelnyk raised it up from the cutoff and then called the shove by Clifford Mills in the small blind for 24,500 and Srikanth Koneru for 44,0000 in the big blind.
Clifford Mills: A♦6♠
Srikanth Koneru: A♣J♦
Valentyn Shabelnyk: A♥K♥
The 9♦7♠3♥3♦7♥ runout kept both short stacks alive via a split pot.
Craig Bateman started the action with a raise to 3,000 from middle position. Play then folded around to Carlos Lucero in the small blind, who put in a three-bet to 10,000. When the action returned to Bateman, he took a moment or two before moving all in for 42,000.
Lucero didn't seem to like the situation he had found himself in. He took stock of his stack, reconfirmed the count of the all-in stack, before taking some more time to decide. After a couple of minutes, he made the call and received instant bad news.
Craig Bateman: A♠A♥
Carlos Lucero: A♣Q♣
There was no help to be found for Lucero as the dealer delivered a 2♥9♠3♦5♠8♣ board to the felt, any Bateman was duly paid his double-up.
Nick Guagenti was down to 22,000, which he got in preflop against Nicholas Schultz.
Nick Guagenti: A♣K♦
Nicholas Schultz: J♠J♦
Guagenti found an ace on the A♠2♣6♠ flop, and made trips on the A♦ turn. The 4♠ river was of no use to Schultz, who was left with about ten big blinds.
Marty Mathis was down to his last 500 chips and was forced all in from the small blind. Arthur Peacock raised from middle position and everyone else folded. Mathis turned over 10♠9♣ and was up against the 6♥6♦ of Peacock. A ten on the turn was good enough for Mathis who eventually made a straight on the river to claim the pot.
On the next hand, Peacock made it 3,000 again and Mathis stuck in his stack of 3,000 chips on the button. The rest of the table folded once again.
Marty Mathis: A♣7♠
Arthur Peacock: A♥5♥
The board ran out A♦10♥4♦2♠10♦ and Mathis held the better kicker for another double up to 10,000 chips.
"Ok, let's slow our roll," Mathis said as he took one hand off.
However, following that he was all in again for 10,000 in middle position. Peacock was in the big blind and took a moment to call after some speech play back and forth.
Marty Mathis: A♠4♦
Arthur Peacock: 8♠7♥
The flop came A♥K♦2♥ and Mathis took another big lead with a pair of aces. The 6♦ on the turn left Peacock drawing dead to the Q♠ on the river.
Three-ways to the A♠8♣4♠ flop, Ryuichiro Yamakawa led for 7,000 from the hijack, Joseph Volz folded in the cutoff, and Jorge Ribeiro called on the button.
On the 10♠ turn, Yamakawa slowed with a check before Ribeiro fired out a bet of 16,000, and Yamakawa quickly called.
Yamakawa checked once more on the 2♣ river before Ribeiro sized up to 41,000. Yamakawa would think it over for around 30 seconds before he cut out calling chips and placed them into the middle. He got the bad news immediately as Ribeiro tabled Q♠J♠ for the second nut flush as he scooped up a substantial pot to cross 200,000.
Joshua Bobrosky from the button and William Phillips in the big blind were all in preflop.
William Phillips: 9♦9♠
Joshua Bobrosky: K♣J♦
Bobrosky failed to connect with the runout of 2♦7♦8♣5♣A♠ and took a huge hit. He was left with just one 5,000 chip.
His chip and a chair didn't last long. He went all in with a three bet on the next hand from the cutoff.
Felipe Olivieri called before Vinh Nguyen raised the pot to 13,000. Olivieri made the call for a side pot.
Nguyen and Oliveiri checked down the action to the river.
Olivieri had only queen high Q♣8♣. Bobrosky showed 5♥5♦. Nguyen scooped the pots with 7♥7♠.
Tom MacDonald opened from late position to 3,000 and action folded around to Zachary Hall in the big blind who three-bet to 12,500. MacDonald four-bet to 27,000 and Hall five-bet jammed for around 170,000, covering MacDonald's remaining 105,000 stack.
MacDonald snap called and showed pocket aces. Hall showed his kings and the players went to the board.
Tom MacDonald: A♥A♦
Zachary Hall: K♠K♣
The rainbow J♠J♥3♣ didn't give Hall much to work with, and there was no change on the 8♠ turn and 5♥ river. MacDonald held to secure his double up, leaving Hall to take a tumble.
