Nate Silver opened to 8,000 on the button and Steven Shulman defended in the big blind.
Shulman led out for 14,000 on the flop of A♣7♦5♥ and Silver called. Shulman then bet 19,000 on the 6♣ turn and Silver, who appeared on the Life Outside Poker podcast last summer, sent his cards to the muck.
Jon Kyte opened to 9,000 from the button with A♥K♦ and received calls from Pat Lyons in the small blind with 9♦7♦ and Justin Smith in the big blind with K♥9♠.
The flop came 6♣7♥4♥. Lyons bet 10,500 with top pair, Smith folded and Kyte called with two overcards and the backdoor nut-flush draw.
Lyons continued for 25,500 on the 10♣ turn and Kyte snap-folded.
Anzhela Vasylenko raised to 8,000 from under the gun and Rob Wazwaz shoved from the next seat for 25,500. When it got back to Vasylenko, she put in the call.

Wazwaz was looking for an ace, but couldn't find it on the 8♥K♣5♣ flop. The Q♣ on the turn did open up the backdoor as Wazwaz picked up a gutshot along with a flush draw. Neither of those came in on the river, but the A♥ was enough to see him double up with his pair of aces.

In three-way action to the K♥6♥4♥ flop, Igor Holdaiy bet 7,000 and Anthony Marquez check-called in the small blind. Anthony Farelli in the big blind check-raised to 30,000 and forced two folds. Farelli flashed the K♣6♦ for two pair.
