The flop came 49Q and Wong check-called a bet of 7,500 from Rothman.

Both then checked to showdown on the 35 runout, where Wong showed K10 for a missed gutshot. Rothman then flipped A4 for a pair of fours, which earned her the pot.

Zukowicz Rivers Two Pair in Blind Battle

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a blind-versus-blind clash, the board read 655JQ with around 27,000 already in the middle. Nitesh Rawtani checked over to Monika Zukowicz, who fired out a bet of 12,000. Rawtani snap-called, only to be met with bad news.

Zukowicz turned over Q6 for rivered two pair, queens and sixes. Rawtani, clearly frustrated, mucked his hand without showing, and the pot was pushed to Zukowicz.

Lopas Fires Three Barrels

Loni Hui opened to 6,000 from the hijack with 88 and Jonah Lopas three-bet to 18,000 from the button with K7. Hui called.

The flop came 543. Hui checked and Lopas continued with a 16,000 bet. Hui called.

Lopas fired a second barrel for 31,000 when checked to on the 10 turn and Hui called again.

On the 2 river Hui checked and Lopas bet 57,500, leaving 2,000 behind. This time it was enough to get a fold from Hui and the pot was pushed to Lopas.

The flop came down 2210 and Garcia immediately checked. Macisaac then moved all in for 35,000.

Garcia took his time in deciding what to do, ultimately deciding Macisaac's range was strong, and folding with the 10 face up.

Macisaac immediately windmilled the K5 across the table, as the dealer pushed the pot in his direction.

Vanier Puts Amaral to the Test

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Vanier opened to 6,000 from the cutoff and was called by Eric Bunch in the small blind. In the big blind, Eduardo Amaral squeezed to 27,000 and only Vanier called.

Amaral continued for one-third on the 865 flop as he bet 21,000 and Vanier put in the call.

Amaral then checked on the wet 7 turn before Vanier put out a bet of 40,000, and Amaral stuck around.

On the 5 river, Amaral checked once more to Vanier who quickly announced all-in as the covering stack for 112,000 effective, and Amaral laid it down without much of a fight.

Buckingham Slows Down Kay

After building his stack to near a million, Joshua Kay found himself in a big pot against Richard Buckingham.

On a board of J10AK3, Kay bet 42,000 and Buckingham raised to 100,000. Kay went in the tank and eventually called, only to muck as Buckingham showed A4 for the nut flush.

At the next table over, John Dlubala complained about his recent run of cards as he folded his small blind to give the big blind a walk.

"I haven't been beat this bad since I was 9 years old," Dlubala said.
