Prokopchuk Doubles Through Hobold

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Brazil's Douglas Hobold raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and Mikhail Prokopchuk three-bet to 85,000 on the button. Both blinds folded and Hobold then jammed with the covering stack. Prokopchuk gave it half a minute of consideration and folded.

Mikhail Prokopchuk: AQ All in
Douglas Hobold: 22

The deuces remained ahead on the J107 flop but the K on the turn locked up the double for Prokopchuk, who even had a royal flush draw. No cherry on top followed as the 7 river followed for Prokopchuk to double for 470,000.

Milhomem Cracks Conniff's Bullets

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Asher Conniff
Asher Conniff

Andreas Christoforou opened to 40,000 from under the gun and Murilo Milhomem three-bet to 125,000 from early position. Asher Conniff was in the small blind and ripped in his stack of around 1,600,000, which got Christoforou to fold. Milhomem had 360,000 total and took just a few seconds before he put them all at risk.

Murilo Milhomem: 99 All in
Asher Conniff: AA

Conniff had the rockets and was looking to shoot down Milhomem's Main Event. However, it was Milhomem's pot to lose after he made a set on the 79Q flop to take the lead.

Conniff needed an ace to drag the pot, but none could be seen on the 84 runout, which meant Milhomem survived.

No Showdowns

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Henry Fischer opened to 40,000 on the button and Steven Alper three-bet to 720,000 in the big blind. Fischer laid it down.

A few tables over, Sergio Veloso opened to 45,000 in middle position and Zhao Liu three-bet to 120,000 from the next seat. Meerwais Hussaini then four-bet to 380,000 in the small blind and both opponents folded.

The next hand, Stephanie Morris joined the table and was placed in the big blind, but she didn't seem to mind — "I was just the big blind. What's another big blind?" — as Hussaini raised to 40,000 on the button. Daniele Primerano and Morris both called in the blinds.

Primerano and Morris checked on the flop of 494 and Hussaini continued for 35,000. Primerano called and Morris folded. Both players then checked on the 5 turn.

Primerano led out for 100,000 on the 4 river and Hussaini laid it down.

Heads-up on a board of 956Q and around 300,000 in the pot, Scott Margereson bet 225,000 from the hijack and Seunghyun Nam moved all in for 850,000 in middle position. Margereson snap-called.

Nam had J10 for straight and flush draws, while Margereson showed 55 for a set. The river was the 3 and Nam missed everything as Margereson scooped in his chips.

Tajiou Has the Goods to Eliminate Rolli

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Mounir Tajiou

Fabian Rolli got his last 400,000 or so into the middle preflop from the button, with Mounir Tajiou being the player trying to bust him from an early position.

Fabian Rolli: K10 All in
Mounir Tajiou: AA

Rolli looked poised to head to the cashier's desk as he was up against the best starting hand in the game. The board ran out 9A10810, which may have given Rolli trips, but that was second best to the full house of Tajiou.

Vytautas Semaska opened to 40,000 from the cutoff before Chyan Pu Huang opted to raise to 130,000 from the small blind.

Brazilian Warfare

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Pedro Padilha opened to 40,000 in middle position and Igor Holdaiy called in the small blind. Jorge Ribeiro shoved all in for his last 90,000 in the big blind which opened the door for Padilha to reshove all in. Holdaiy deliberated for a minute but decided to lay his hand down.

Jorge Ribeiro: 86All in
Pedro Padilha: A10

The flop came J76 and Ribeiro picked up the lone pair to take the lead. The 2 on the turn changed nothing but the A on the river gave Padilha the better pair to eliminate his countryman.

Reichard Forces Out Gerloff

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In a duel small blind versus cutoff, the completed board showed KQ349 and Martin Gerloff checked out of the small blind. Josh Reichard in the cutoff fired a bet of 525,000 and that sent his opponent deep into the tank.

The decision was for half of his stack and Gerloff eventually folded and mucked his cards. He wanted to show them as they landed near the muck, went there to grab them and exposed the AK.

Deevara Takes From Sturm

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Peter Ng raised to 40,000 and every single player behind him called as they went five ways to the K98 flop. The action checked to Leon Sturm on the button and he bet 40,000. Rahul Deevara then check-raised to 115,000 in the big blind and Sturm was the only caller.

Deevara bet the J turn for 425,000 and that covered the remaining stack of Sturm, who opted to fold.
