Level 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Corey Skogrand
Corey Skogrand

Paul Gibbons made it 300,000 from middle position and Corey Skogrand shoved for 1,200,000 from the small blind. Gibbons took a few moments, then slid in the call to put Skogrand at risk.

Corey Skogrand: AQ All in
Paul Gibbons: A9

Skogrand had Gibbons dominated heading to the 105A flop, where both players hit top pair, but Gibbons picked up a flush draw. The 8 turn was safe for Skogrand, but the J river gave Gibbons the nut flush. Gibbons raked in the pot, while Skogrand headed to the rail.

Beckenstein Good at Showdown

Joshua Beckenstein
Joshua Beckenstein

Joshua Beckenstein opened to 300,000 from under the gun and Chahn Jung defended in the big blind.

Jung checked on the flop of 25Q and Beckenstein continued for 350,000. Jung called. Both players then checked on the J turn and again on the 9 river. Jung showed 44, which was no good against the AJ of Beckenstein.

During the hand, the floor warned Beckenstein to keep his aluminum fidget toy off the felt and rail since it is a shiny device that could potentially reflect cards.

"It's about as shiny as this coin," protested Beckenstein.

Braxton Dunaway

First, Dmitrii Perfilev got a preflop shove through against Yuchen Chen and the same table then saw a raise to 300,000 by Mitchell Hynam. Braxton Dunaway called in the hijack and Perfilev was seemingly interested when he asked, "you both have around the same?" before folding from the small blind.

The Q32 flop was checked and Hynam also checked the 6 turn. Dunaway now bet 525,000 and that won the pot.
