As relayed by the ESPN crew, Jean-Robert Bellande has been eliminated. He was among several players to limp in and Scott Nicol then raised to 3,000. The first limper called before Bellande jammed for around 24,000. Nicol rejammed and isolated successfully.

There was no escape for Bellande on the 7♣6♠4♦10♦2♠ runout and that spelled the end for him in Level 4.
With the board reading 3♦Q♦5♠10♣, Eric Smith bet around 25,000 from early position, and Breno Campelo raised to 53,000 on the button. Smith jammed, and Campelo called for his remaining 20,000 or so to put himself at risk.

Campelo had a pair and a flush draw, although only the flush draw was live as Smith held the nuts with a set of queens.
The 5♣ on the river improved Campelo to trip fives, but it was no good against Smith's full house, sending Campelo to the rail.
Victoria Ailloud opened to 1,200 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 4,000 by Adam Matues in the big blind. Undeterred, Ailloud four-bet to 10,000 and Matues five-bet to 25,000. Ailloud called.
Ailloud called a 10,000 bet from Matues on the 9♥5♥5♦ flop and then called all in for approximately 30,000 after Matues shoved on the 10♦ turn.

Ailloud rapped the table after seeing Matues' aces, and the 10♥ river left her second-best to be eliminated while Matues received a huge boost to his stack.
Jonathan Shaw was already all in for approximately 80,000 from the big blind, Henry Lewman was all in for approximately 30,000 from early position, and Matthias Kribben was all in for approximately 22,000 on a flop of A♠5♠6♥.

Lewman had way the best of it with his set of fives, and the 10♥8♣ runout changed nothing — awarding a near triple-up to Lewman and eliminating Kribben from the Main Event.
David Harvey was already all in for his last 4,300 against Jiacheng Li, who had Harvey covered.

The board ran out 8♦5♣A♥9♥J♠ — leaving Li best with his king-kicker to eliminate Harvey just before dinner break.
Lyle Diamond checked from early position on the A♠9♠10♥ flop, and John Chase bet 5,000 from a few seats over. Diamond check-jammed for 28,200, and after a brief pause, Chase called.

Both players had top pair, but it was Chase's superior kicker that had a stranglehold on the hand.
The J♣ turn and 6♠ river were no help to Diamond, and he became another Day 1 casualty of the Main Event.
Arron Pointon was already all-in from the small blind and awaited his fate when Michael Gathy in the big blind bet the 8♦7♣6♠3♣ turn and called a raise to 10,000 by Gaetan Balleur. The 9♣ fell on the river and Gathy checked. Balleur bet 6,900 to isolate and Pointon said "I have the worst possible hand on this board" before he flashed his Q♣J♠.
Balleur's 10♣10♥ had rivered the ten-high straight for good measure to score the knockout.
Quan Quach raised to 1,100 and then called a three-bet to 3,500 by Susan Murphey in the very next seat. Following a Q♦10♣3♦ flop, they got the chips into the middle with Quach at risk.

Both players had draws and neither connected with the board yet. Nothing changed on the 3♠ turn and the 3♥ river sent Quach out of the tournament.
In a three-way pot to the A♦K♣Q♣ flop with around 7,100 in the middle, Matthew Ahern check-raised to 7,800 against two opponents and Joel Hanson made it 19,000 to go with some 35,000 behind. Ahern then put in another 70,000 on top and Hanson reluctantly called all in.

The Q♥ turn and 6♦ river failed to improve Hanson and he was sent to the rail while Ahern joined the largest stacks in the field in level three.
There was a tad over 55,000 in the pot on a complete board of J♣7♣4♠9♦2♦ when this hand was picked up.
Hal Rotholz put it all on the line with a jam for 29,200 from under the gun. The bet put Tomas Teran into the tank.
Teran asked for a count before he organized his chips and took an inventory. The stressed Teran eventually cut out the chips for a call and held them in his hand as he mulled over what to do.
A loud thud thumped from the table as Teran pounded the chips down on the felt for a call.
Rotholz stood up from his seat and showed A♣Q♠ for an ace-high bluff. A relieved Teran tabled K♠K♥ to eliminate Rotholz from contention.
"If it was a stupid tournament, I would have made the call a long time ago," said Teran to the table as he apologized for taking time on his river decision.
