Jason Graeb bet 8,000 from the small blind on a flop of 8♥J♥9♣ and Kazuki Sogabe raised to 25,000 in the hijack. Graeb called, and the 8♣ fell on the turn.
Sogabe then bet another 25,000, and Graeb again called. The river was the 3♥ and Sogabe moved all in. Graeb snap-called for 70,000 and turned over A♥K♥ for a rivered flush, but Sogabe had a full house with J♠J♣ to score the late knockout.
The hand was picked up preflop with Clement Kerrien's all-in shove from early position having been called by Kyle Grosshanten and Randy Jacks from the blinds.
The 5♠6♥7♠ flop brought checks from Grosshanten and Jacks. On the J♦ turn, Jacks bet 20,000 to run Grosshanten off.

Kerrien was ahead and needed a brick on the river, but the 2♠ wasn't one of them, as it gave Jacks a flush and a knockout.
Coralie Renaud was all in from the hijack with her last 25,000 in chips. David Kluchman, one of the chip leaders in the event, had a covering stack in the small blind.

"Don't worry, I run so bad with kings," Kluchman said, without even the slightest bit of sarcasm. "I really do."
Renaud was worried, all right, and with good reason, as the runout 7♠3♠4♣9♦J♣ didn't deliver the ace she needed and she was knocked out of the tournament.
Gabriel Mirel raised to 9,000 from late position to see Bradley Guan on the button, David Abramowicz in the small blind, and Jordan Siegel in the big blind all call.
The flop of Q♦10♦8♣ checked through to the Q♣ turn, where action checked to Mirel, who bet 11,000.
Guan folded, Abramowicz called, and Siegel raised to 26,000 to win the pot outright.
At another table, Matt Vengrin was eliminated from the tournament.
Players were already heads up on the 7♠Q♦3♦ flop and had accumulated a pot of 13,000. Andrew Lydon was in the big blind against Radwan Khuri, who was sat under the gun.
Lydon had checked, Khuri had moved all in for 38,000, and action was back on Lydon. It took a little while for Lydon to decide his option, but he picked up a matching stack and eventually made the call.

Lydon was ahead with a pair of sevens, but Khuri had two overcards and was now looking to hit on either the turn or river.
The 4♦ turn and 2♥ river were dealt, and there was no turning back for Khuri, who was eliminated in the final hour of play. One player asked at the table, "What did he call with?" and another player responded, "Seven-five, the big blind special!"
Michael Stashin on the button and small blind Jamie Dwan got all their chips in the middle before the flop.

The two players were racing with nearly identical stacks, and Dwan took the lead on the A♣J♠6♠ flop with top pair. The rest of the board ran out 4♥Q♦, and Dwan secured the pot.
Stashin told the table he had 75,000 and that Dwan had him covered as he headed for the exit. Tablemate Chris Wallace, though, they pointed out that Stashin actually had 107,000, and the table tried to call Stashin back.
Wallace then noticed that he was actually counting some of Dwan's stack, as well, and Dwan actually had Stashin covered. "Don't needle the poor guy," Marsha Wolak added.
Patrick Braga in middle position, Corey Eyring from the cutoff, and Mason "Milkman" Vieth in the small blind all put 10,000 into the middle each to create a three-handed pot as they took a flop.
The 3♥10♣7♣ flop led to a bet of 22,500 from Vieth. Braga called, while Eyring got out of the way with a fold.
Vieth jammed on the 6♠ turn and was quickly called by Braga, who put himself at risk for approximately 47,000 as they went to a showdown.

The "Milkman" had Braga in bad shape as it was set over set with one card to go.
Braga's one out did not appear on the 5♥ river as Vieth claimed a victim, adding to a strong showing on Day 2abc.
In a matchup of players in adjacent seats in middle position, Matthew McDowell was all in against Jaime Salcedo.

Unfortunate timing for McDowell, and there was no reprieve in the runout 2♥6♦3♣6♥7♥, and his tournament was over.
Jan Badiola raised to 4,000 from early position, and James Matteucci went all in for 46,000 in middle position. Action folded back to Badiola and he called.

The board ran out 7♣K♠9♠5♣9♥, and Matteucci was eliminated.
There was some uproar on table 146 and Jesse Green banged on the table in excitement when he came out on top of an all-in showdown with Ravi Udayakumar. All the cards were still exposed with the board reading Q♦8♣7♦5♣9♠ and the K♠K♦ of Green had dodged clubs and an ace versus A♣K♣.
After a brief count, the elimination of Udayakumar was confirmed and he headed out of the tournament area.
