Million Chip Pot As Wongwichit Puts the Most Classic of Coolers on Lindemann

Phachara Wongwichit opened from middle position before Evan Lindemann three-bet to 30,000 on the button. In the small blind, Petros Triantafylidis cold four-bet to 122,000.

Wongwichit then jammed for 432,000. Lindemann rejammed for 437,000, and Triantafylidis got out of the way.

Lindemann was left with 5,000 chips after the hand.

Nguyen Cracks Eyzaguirre's Kings

Ricardo Eyzaguirre opened on the button to 12,000 before Vy Nguyen made it 50,000 from the small blind. Eyzaguirre responded with an all-in for 187,000. Nguyen went into the tank for a considerable amount of time as he agonized over the decision. Nguyen counted out how much it would cost and took an inventory of how many chips he would have should he lose.

Eventually, Nguyen made the call to put Eyzaguirre at risk.

Eyzaguirre was well ahead, but he needed to fade the dreaded ace with five cards to go.

The flop was safe when it fanned out 9♥9♣8♦ to keep Eyzaguirre in the lead.

That changed in a hurry when the A♠ peeled on the turn to vault Nguyen into the lead, leaving Eyzaguirre with just two outs with one card to come.

The 2♥ river was the final card Eyzaguirre would see in the tournament as he was eliminated from contention.

Francisco Mateo raised to 13,000 and Michael Kamran called in the next seat. It then folded to Simon Wilson in the big blind and he squeezed to 132,000 while keeping a single chip behind. Mateo went into the tank before he announced all in. Kamran sighed for a second, then called to roll over his cards, as did Mateo, while Wilson got to see both player's cards already.

"I don't know man, I am getting a good price," Wilson smirked, and then called all in as well.

"Ace, one time," Kamran exclaimed, but the J♠10♠3♥2♣9♣ board brought no help to either of the shorter stacks. Mateo's stack was counted at 411,000, which covered Kamran's 340,000 or so.

Kamran chatted with Aliaksei Boika before leaving and mentioned, "I don't care about the money, I want to have chips," before heading out of the tournament area.

The 3♦ turn gave him life, and he called for a diamond, but the 3♣ sealed his elimination from the tournament.

Before leaving, Gutyi asked Nare about a hand that the two had played earlier, with Nare letting Gutyi know that he "had it."
