Wilt Falls in Final Hand of the Day

Seeing a raise and three-bet ahead of him, Nathan Wilt four-bet jammed for 635,000 from the blinds. The original raiser, Allan Sannier, responded with a five-bet jam of his own, which quickly removed the three-bettor, and only Wilt called.

Wilt was hoping he would still be around after the flip to bag chips for Day 5. If that were to be the case, he was going to have to do it the hard way, as Sannier flopped a full house on the 3♥10♦3♣ flop.

The 2♠ turn had Wilt drawing dead, and once the 9♣ river completed the board, the other players bagged their chips while Wilt gathered his belongings and left.

On a J♣2♠9♥ flop, cutoff Arash Vaziri bet 40,000 into a pot of 110,000. Robert Murphy then raised all in to 265,000 on the button, and Vaziri called after some deliberation.

Murphy looked on as the 3♦ turn remained safe for his top pair. The Q♥ river upgraded Vaziri to a higher pair, however, sending Murphy out with just a few hands left to play on Day 4.

On a completed board of 6♣3♦3♣7♦4♦ with about 175,000 in the middle, Daniel Marcus had 150,000 in front of him from the cutoff. Katsuki Matsuoka then raised to 475,000 from middle position.

After a long tank, Marcus put in the call, only to be shown the 6♥6♦ of Matsuoka, who flopped a full house.

The very next hand, Matsuoka opened again to 30,000 second-to-act before Marcus three-bet to 100,000 from the hijack. On the button, Yulian Bogdanov cold four-bet to 180,000. Matsuoka quickly got out of the way before Marcus jammed for 550,000, and Bogdanov quickly called as the covering stack.

It was a coinflip scenario as the Q♦6♥4♥ flop kept Bogdanov in the lead. Nothing changed on the 6♦Q♥ runout, leaving Bogdanov's jacks the best hand.

Marcus went from 1,100,000 to zero in two hands as he exits late in the night in brutal fashion.

After some raising back and forth, Carmine Tirone got his short stack all in from the button, with Vinicius Lima looking to end his night from the big blind.

Tirone was in great shape to end the evening on a high, but it quickly turned into a nightmare as Lima paired his ace on the 9♣2♠A♣ flop to take the lead.

Tirone couldn't find the one-outer he needed on the 3♣ turn or 2♦ river, and he became the next player to exit the Main Event on Day 4.

Kleinbeck Chips up and Sends Pahuja Out

Mukul Pahuja was already all in for his short stack from the cutoff against Robin Kleinbeck on the button, Adam Sykes in the big blind, and Jinghan Yan in early position heading to a flop, which came 5♠K♥10♣.

Action checked to Kleinbeck and he bet 35,000. Sykes folded, but Yan called.

The Q♥ fell on the turn and Yan checked again, prompting a 110,000 bet from Kleinbeck. Yan let his hand go to set up a showdown between Kleinbeck and Pahuja.

Robin Kleinbeck: A♠3♠

Kleinbeck only held ace-high, but it was well ahead of Pahuja's jack-high.

The 2♠ river kept Kleinbeck best and Pahuja was elimnated.

Alex Foxen raised to 30,000 in the cutoff, and Aaron Augusten responded by moving all in for 235,000 from the big blind, which Foxen called.

The K♥J♥7♥ flop left Augusten in a world of hurt, as Foxen flopped the nut flush to fly into the lead. Any hope that Augusten had left was well and truly crushed on the turn, as Foxen improved to a royal flush on the 10♥.

The inconsequential 10♣ river completed the board, and before the dealer mucked the board and pushed the pot in Foxen's direction, Augusten took a photo of the board and headed out.
