Michael Gagliano raised to 2,500,000 in the cutoff and Antonio Galiana three-bet to 14,000,000 one seat over on the button for more than half of his short stack. The blinds both folded and Gagliano then four-bet jammed with the covering stack and that sent Galiana in a world of pain, as he turned sideways while pondering about his decision.

Ultimately, Galiana called and found himself trailing on a six-figure pay jump.

The Q♠5♣4♦ flop gave Ensan more outs but he was drawing dead on the K♦ turn to make the A♥ river bittersweet as Ensan's aces and queens ended up second-best. The only former WSOP Main Event champion in the field departed in 13th place for $510,000, while Gagliano soared to nearly 82 big blinds.

Daniel Savas raised to 2,000,000 in the hijack and Lauri Saaskilahti three-bet to 6,000,000 from the very next seat. Once all players behind folded, Savas near instantly pushed all-in for 35 big blinds effective, as he had Saaskilahti narrowly covered.

Saaskilahti used four time banks and then called all-in for 35,200,000.

With 14 players left and on a pay jump. Savas was in dire shape after the A♥K♥10♠ flop. The 7♠ turn gave him a gutshot and Savas declared his one time, not having used it yet during the tournament.

It was a close call but the 7♥ river ended his run in 14th place for $410,475 while all other 13 contenders have now locked up $510,000.

Hossein Ensan made it 2,000,000 to go next and Hammoud called in the cutoff. Shaun Deeb in the big blind called and they made it three ways to the Q♠5♣4♦ flop, on which Deeb and Ensan checked. Hammoud bet 1,500,000 and Deeb then check-raised all-in for 13,600,000.

Ensan asked for a count and folded whereas Hammoud quickly called.

Deeb needed an eight or trey to double or running cards for two pair. His outs were reduced to eight on the K♦ turn and the J♦ river ended Deeb's bid to reach the final table, as he bowed out in 15th place for $410,475.

The 7♠ followed on the turn, and Clack checked again. Ensan moved all in for 10,300,000 effective, and Clack called on the pay-jump bubble.

Clack's slow-played two pair with aces and fives was in dire shape as Ensan had turned the superior two pair. The river was the K♣ and Clack departed in 18th place for $325,000, while all remaining 17 players locked up at least $410,475 for their efforts.
