The final seven players are heading off to a first 15 minute break of the day. Play resumes at 4:25 p.m. local time.
Rocco Iati opened to 13,500,000 from the cutoff, leaving just 3,000,000 behind. Action folded to Kartik Ved in the big blind, who made the call. On a flop of 6♣5♦6♥ Ved moved all in, and Iati made the call.
Rocco Iati: J♣10♣
Kartik Ved: A♦K♥
Ved held on the Q♠A♠ runout to knock his opponent.
Philip Chun opened to 6,000,000 under the gun, and only big blind Jalil Houssain called.
The two went to a flop of 9♠8♣Q♦ which checked through. Houssain then led out for 8,500,000 on the 4♥ turn, and Chun put in the call. The river Q♣ checked through, too, and Houssain showed down K♥10♦. "I needed one of those!" he said as he saw Chun's J♣J♠ which took down the pot.
Axel Bayout defended his big blind after Jalil Houssain opened to 6,000,000. The pair checked the Q♥3♦2♣ flop and the turn was the J♥. Bayout checked, but folded to Houssain's shove.
A few hands later, David Prociak opened to 6,000,000 and Bayout shoved for 8,500,000. Kartik Ved cold-called and Prociak also called.
Ved forced Prociak out on the A♠3♦3♣ flop and the cards were turned over.
Axel Bayout: A♣3♥
Kartik Ved: 6♥6♣
Bayout had hit the perfect flop, and avoided disaster on the 7♦ turn and the 8♣ river to triple up.
Phil Hellmuth has a chance on Monday to silence Shaun Deeb and his other doubters.

Rocco Iati limped in from early position. Joseph Trezzo completed from the small blind, and Jalil Houssain checked his option from the big.
On a flop of 5♣3♥8♠ Trezzo led out for 3,000,000. Houssain made the call, and Iati snap-shoved for 14,000,000. After a bit of consideration, both of his opponents made the lay down.

Jalil Houssain opened to 5,000,000 and Alex Kaviani defended his big blind.
The flop was 10♥7♥3♣ and Kaviani check-called 3,500,000 from Houssain. The turn was the 3♥.
Kaviani checked again and Houssain continued for 5,000,000. Kaviani check-raised to 17,000,000. Houssain called.
The river was the K♣. Kaviani shoved and Houssain snap-called for 29,500,000.
Jalil Houssain: A♥4♥
Alex Kaviani: A♦2♥
Houssain had snapped off the bluff of Kaviani, moving up above 100 million in chips in the process.
