Level 40
: Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Christopher Cawlfield
Christopher Cawlfield was first to act, and announced "all in" for his remaining 23,500,000. Action folded all the way around to Alex Kaviani, who called from the big blind.
Christopher Cawlfield: A♠J♦
Alex Kaviani: Q♣10♣
Kaviani flopped top pair on 10♦3♠9♣ and held on the K♦K♠ runout to send the remaining 10 players to an unofficial final table.

: Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
Sheldon Phelps
Philip Chun opened the action with a raise to 4,000,000 from late position. Joseph Trezzo flatted from the cutoff, before Sheldon Phelps shoved 24,500,000 from the button. Chun took his time before reshoving for slightly more, which folded out Trezzo.
Sheldon Phelps: 8♠8♦
Philip Chun: 10♦10♥
The board came too high for Phelps, with the Q♥J♠7♠A♦9♠ runout sending him home.
Level 40
: Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante
William Carter opened the action with an all-in from early position for 17,000,000. Action folded round to Alex Ferrari in the small blind, who reshoved his stack, and the big blind got out of the way.
William Carter: K♦J♠
Alex Ferrari: 9♣9♦
The board ran out very clean for Ferrari, as Carter's lack of connection on 2♣Q♦7♣6♠6♥ left him as the first elimination on Day 3.
Of the 20,488 entrants into the maiden event of this year’s World Series of Poker, only 13 are left standing at the beginning of the third and final day of play. Action is set to kick off in Event #1: $550 Mini Mystery Millions No-Limit Hold’em at 2 p.m. local time inside the Paris Ballroom.
The title of chip leader going into Day 3 goes to David Prociak, who managed to bag up an impressive 88,000,000 chips, good for 44 big blinds when play resumes today. Not far behind is Alexander Kaviani with 81,500,000 chips, and Jurgen Pirgu rounds out the podium having finished the day well behind the frontrunners with 45,500,000 chips.

There are also multiple players in the field seeking to multiply their bracelet tally today, with past winners Axel Bayout (43,000,000) and Kartik Ved (35,000,000) also making the cut, having outlasted over 20,000 players in the seventh-largest WSOP tournament in history.

Each of the remaining 13 players has already locked up a cool $27,200 score, independent of any bounties received from eliminating players, coming from the $5,255,172 regular prize pool and the $4,096,600 bounty prize pool. That being said, all eyes will be on the $400,000 payday for the eventual winner, as well as the WSOP bracelet that is up for grabs.
