Cross Wins Snowball Fight

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Peter Cross raised from the cutoff to 125,000, and Samuel Jones three-bet all in for 625,000. Cross asked for a count and then stated, "I can't fold anyhow," and called.

Samuel Jones: KQ All in
Peter Cross: 88

The board did not offer a lifeline to Jones with 72227, even though he technically hit a full house; Cross had the superior full house for the win.

Lost Flip Busts Ball

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Scott Ball and Dae Kwon got all in preflop blind on blind with very similar stack sizes, but it was Ball who was at risk with the better hand.

Scott Ball: 77 All in
Dae Kwon: AQ

The 105Q was brutal for Ball, with the A turn certainly not helping matters, either. Unfortunately for him, it wasn't always coming seven, with the K river sealing his elimination.

Ream Eliminates Phillips

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Tyler Phillips shoved for his remaining 505,000 from early position and was called by Nirath Rean from the hijack to be at risk.

Tyler Phillips: 88All in
Nirath Rean: AJ

It was a classic race of a pair versus overcards, and this time the overcards pulled ahead quickly as the flop came A49 to give Rean top pair.

The Q turn was of no use to Phillips, and the 4 river was the final card he would see in the tournament.

Zhou Wins Uncontested

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Vincent Albert opened to 150,000 from the cutoff and was called by Lin Zhou from the small blind.

Both players checked the 864 flop to bring the 10 turn.

Zhou bet 130,000 and was called by Albert.

The 5 river did not slow Zhou down, as he bet 350,000 on the final card. Albert gave it some thought before he folded to award the pot to Zhou without a showdown.

Stoyanov Defends From The Small Blind

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Francis Rusnak raised from the button to 125,000, and Radoslav Stoyanov was the sole caller from the small blind. The flop came out with 4JA, Stoyanov checked, and Rusnak bet 200,000. Stoyanov stayed for the turn.

Action slowed down as the turn 4, and the river 6 came, and both players checked.

Stoyanov turned over K8 for a busted flush draw, which turned into the winner, as Rusnak mucked.

Pay Jump Comfusion in the Monster

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a $1,000 pay jump, Mauricio Madrigal Rivas opened to 535,000 from the small blind, leaving just a single 5,000 chip behind. Triet Nguyen, covering, moved all in from the big blind, sending Madrigal Rivas into the tank, waiting for a player to bust. A player at the table told him it would only take "five seconds," which he interpreted to mean the time left for him to make a decision. He put in the final chip, then took it back, then clock was called and he put it in again, as the two players finally arrived at showdown.

Mauricio Madrigal Rivas: KQ All in
Triet Nguyen: 66

It was a flip, and Nguyen continued to pick up outs on the runout, as the JA7 flop gave him a gutshot, and the 5 turn meaning any heart would do the trick, too. It was a case of too many outs, with the 2 river sealing his fate, as he ended up missing out on the pay increase anyway.

Trayner Shoves River

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Malcolm Trayner opened to 120,000 from early position. Raymond Taylor called on the button.

Trayner continued for 100,000 on the 9AQ flop and was called by Taylor.

The J turn led to a bet of 350,000 from Trayner, and Taylor stuck around with a call.

Trayner continued his betting ways when he shoved on the 3 river. Taylor took little time before he made the fold to award the pot to Trayner.
