Khuong Survives; Servies Hits Rail

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Kevin Khuong got the proceedings started with an all-in for 475,000 from under the gun. Alexandre Servies went all-in from the next seat over, and Randall Crouch put both at risk when he made the call out of the big blind.

Alexandre Servies: 22All in
Kevin Khuong: AJAll in
Randall Crouch: AK

Servies held the only pair to start, but Khuong joined the club on the 74J flop to take the lead.

Calenzo Fades the Sweat

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Kevin Calenzo opened up the action from middle position with a raise to 160,000. Robert Renaud bumped it up with a three-bet to 420,000. Action folded back around to the opener, who announced "One point nine million," cutting out the chips in front of himself. He hadn't left himself much behind, and quickly called when Renaud five-bet jammed.

Kevin Calenzo: KK All in
Robert Renaud: AQ

Calenzo was in great shape, but Renaud picked up additional outs following the 24Q flop. The 10 turn brought in a bigger sweat, with Renaud improving to a flush draw, but couldn't suck out as the brick 2 river allowed Calenzo to secure a huge double.

Saucedo Busts Larson

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Carlos Saucedo opened to 160,000 before Joseph Larson jammed for 1,965,000 on the button. Saucedo made the call to put Larson at risk for 1,965,000 as Saucedo just a barely had him covered with a stack of 1,975,000.

Joseph Larson: A2All in
Carlos Saucedo: AK

Larson was in big trouble against the better ace of Saucedo, but that flipped on its head when the flop came 6210 to give Larson the best hand with a pair of deuces.

The Q gave Saucedo some additional outs, and that was crucial as the J peeled on the river to give Saucedo a straight and eliminate Larson.

Dishongh Folds the Losing Hand

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Martin Zamani opened the action from late position, with Kyle Dishongh on his direct left calling the raise. Zhijian Zhang then shoved slightly more than a million, and Zamani reshoved, splashing a huge number of chips in front of him. Despite being clearly covered, Dishongh asked for a count of Zamani's stack, before tabling 77 halfway through the count and announcing "I'm folding the winning hand."

Zhijian Zhang: J8 All in
Martin Zamani: QQ

He was wrong, as the 366410 runout secured the win for Zamani, as he continued to add to his chip lead over the table, and the Day 1a chip leader hit the rail.

Pirgu Coolers Jones

Level 25 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Shea Jones opened to 120,000 on the button. Jurgen Pirgu re-raised to 280,000 from the small blind. Jones opted to shove for approximately 1,100,000 and was quickly called by Pirgu to be at risk.

Shea Jones: JJAll in
Jurgen Pirgu: AA

Jones ran into the aces of Pirgu, and the flop all but shut the door when the dealer fanned out A56 to give Pirgu top set.

The Q turn was the final card of consequence, making the 10 river immaterial as Pirgu busted Jones.
