Khuong Shows Bluff

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jason Nikora opened to 210,000 from under the gun, but met resistance when Kevin Khuong decided to re-raise to 600,000 from the next seat over.

Nikora made the call to bring the 9K5 flop. Nikora checked and then called the Khuong continuation bet of 325,000.

The 4 turn led to another check from Nikora. Khuong kept up the betting with 1,500,000. Nikora went into the tank before he made the fold.

Khuong showed A4 for a pair of fours as he dragged in the chips.

Alsup Wins Bidding War

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jonas Lauck opened to 200,000 from early position. Richard Alsup called out of the hijack before Harold Rodriguez opted to re-raise to 765,000 from the big blind.

Lauck folded, but Alsup was still interested in the hand. After some thought, Alsup opted to four-bet to 1,400,000.

Rodriguez did not think long before he folded to award the pot to Alsup.

Nguyen Knockout

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Dirk Perdrix moved all in for his final 50,000 from middle position. Robert Georato raised to 200,000 from the hijack, and Kainoa Nguyen flatted from the small blind, creating a side pot between the two.

Kainoa Nguyen checked all three streets over to his opponent, and Georato fired three barrels, to the tune of 100,000, 375,000, and 575,000 on the J7J flop, 4 turn and K river respectively. Nguyen called the first two, then announced "all in" on the river, for less than 700,000. Georato tabled K9 for top two, without realising that Nguyen had shoved, rather than called. He quickly mucked, and Nguyen tabled AJ for trips, besting the 55 of Perdrix

Moroz Hits Kicker

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Julian Pineda Lozano raised to 160,000 from the hijack before Yegor Moroz made it 450,000 from the cutoff. Benjamin Palmer four-bet to 1,000,000, which prompted a fold from Lozano. Moroz jammed for 2,400,000 and was called by Palmer to be at risk.

Yegor Moroz: KQAll in
Benjamin Palmer: AK

It appeared Moroz stepped in it, but the flop put him in the lead when it came 4Q2 with a pair of queens.

The 8 turn did not change the standings, and the 8 river sealed the deal as Moroz managed to hit the queen to double up.

Siepmann Out-Foxed

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Margaret Fox raised from early position to 160,000, and Alexander Siepmann defended from the big blind. The flop came out with 76K, and Siepmann checked, while Fox continued for 200,000, and Siepmann moved all in for his last 450,000. Fox quickly called.

Alexander Siepmann: 107 All in
Margaret Fox: AA

The turn and river were QJ, and Fox's top pair was solid for the win.

Palmer Scores Double Knockout

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Tyler Adams opened from under the gun and was called by Daniel Allen from early position. Benjamin Palmer made it 575,000 from the big blind before Adams went all-in. Allen also went all-in and Palmer called to put both at risk.

Tyler Adams: Q10All in
Daniel Allen: QQAll in
Benjamin Palmer: AK

Palmer pulled ahead on the 3K4 flop.

The flop was all spades, but not one player held a spade, making it a moot point after the 5 hit the turn to eliminate any flush chop scenarios.

Palmer would secure the pot when the A hit the river as both Adams and Allen busted from the tournament.
