Daniel Negreanu

Geoffrey Mooney checked the 1074 turn while in the big blind and then called when Daniel Negreanu in the cutoff bet 75,000. Both checked the 3 on the turn and Mooney also checked the J on the river. Negreanu bet 150,000 and forced a rather quick fold to scoop the pot with a ,"big flop," without revealing any of his cards.

Runza Chops With Barakat

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

On a flop of 1094, Anthony Runza made it 70,000 to go from the cutoff and Youness Barakat check-called to then lead the Q turn for 135,000. Runza pushed all in and Barakat checked his cards again before quickly calling.

Anthony Runza: KKJ5 All in
Youness Barakat: AKJJ

The river was the Q and they chopped the pot four spots away from the money. All dealers have already been told by the floor staff to announce if there was a seat open on their tables.

Jeremy Druckman raised to 55,000 in early position, and only Arthur Morris called one seat to his left.

The 9KJ flop saw both players check, but Druckman picked his betting lead back up on the 3 turn, to the tune of 100,000. Morris called, taking the two to a 5 river.

Druckman checked, but Morris decided to put 175,000 into the middle. After using a couple of time extensions, Druckman let go of his hand.

Grech Uses His Chance to Chip Up

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Aaron Kupin limped in and Eelis Pärssinen in the next seat then made it 70,000 to go from the hijack. All players behind folded and it came back to Kupin, who declared a pot-sized reraise to 235,000 total. Pärssinen quickly tossed his cards into the muck.

In the next hand, Chance Kornuth made it 40,000 to go from the small blind and Zachary Grech came along in the small blind. They checked the AK4 flop to the Q turn on which Grech bet 35,000 and Kornuth called.

Grech bet the 10 river for 90,000 and Kornuth folded.

Joni Jouhkimainen potted preflop and Geoffrey Mooney called out of the big blind to then get his short stack of 79,000 into the middle after the K32 flop.

Geoffrey Mooney: K974 All in
Joni Jouhkimainen: AQ72

The 8 turn and J river were blanks and Mooney doubled only five spots away from the money.

"Do you see what shit Joni is playing?" Daniel Negreanu on the same table asked Gus Hansen, who had walked over to see the showdown. "No top five hand, no top ten hand, no respect for the game," Negreanu added with a smirk.

Jouhkimainen replied with a dry, "deuces have been wild."

Krentzman Misreads Hand to Be Eliminated

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Evan Krentzman
Evan Krentzman

Three-way to the 727 flop, Ka Kwan Lau checked under the gun to Evan Krentzman in the hijack. Krentzman pushed his stack of 178,000 into the pot of a similar size, folding out Santhosh Suvarna in the cutoff.

Lau requested a count, calling a few seconds after hearing the correct number.

Evan Krentzman: A10K6 All in
Ka Kwan Lau: KKJ9

Lau locked up the pot on the 4 turn, and the players at the table wished Krentzman well as the 5 river rolled off.

Krentzman then alerted the dealer that he had a higher flush, but soon found out he had mistaken his ace of diamonds for a heart. Krentzman walked to the exit, letting out some expletives on the way.

Simao Takes From Ding

Level 15 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Three ways to the J84K turn, Biao Ding made it 75,000 to go and was called only by Joao Simao in the cutoff while Daniel Geeng in the big blind folded. Ding slowed down and then checked the 6 on the river. Simao checked back with the words, "let's chop."

"If you have king-jack, you win," Ding said before rolling over his 64 for the bottom two pair.

Simao had king-jack indeed and won the pot with the AKJ3 for top two.
