Jouhkimainen and Nagy Chip Up

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Nick Schulman entered not long ago and scooped a healthy pot against Lautaro Guerra when they checked the Q9725 river. Guerra had the Q982 for the top two pair but Schulman's set of nines won the pot.

What followed was a four-way limped flop of 742 on which it checked to Gergo Nagy in the cutoff. He bet 13,000 and Sean Rafael was the only caller. The 5 came on the turn and Rafael checked again. Nagy now bet 45,000 by putting in two green T-25,000 chips and Rafael then used three green chips in forward motion, after which the floor was called.

It was ruled to be a forced min-raise to 90,000 and Nagy then used one time bank before he potted to 336,000. Rafael went into the tank and used one time bank as well, then folded.

Soon after, Rafael tangled with Joni Jouhkimainen and folded when the Finn bet the pot for 306,000 on the 1022 flop.

Misclick Costs Pugh-Jones

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Gruffudd Pugh-Jones
Gruffudd Pugh-Jones

Gruffudd Pugh-Jones limped from the cutoff before Jason Koon made it 32,000 from the small blind. Ian Matakis joined with a call out of the big blind.

"Thirty-two?" said Pugh-Jones, and in one motion accidentally put a 100,000 chip instead of a 25,000 chip to throw out 107,000 instead of 32,000. The floor was called over to make a ruling. Despite the table understanding that Pugh-Jones meant to call, he was bound to the re-raise to 107,000.

Koon responded with a pot four-bet as Matakis and Pugh-Jones folded in response.

"It's a stupid spot because he obviously meant to call," said a visibly bothered Koon. "Angle shooters f***ed you there," said Koon, referencing why a ruling of that nature exists.

"I had aces. I can't call," said Koon to Pugh-Jones as he explained why he raised in response to the misclick.

An understanding Pugh-Jones took the ruling in stride as he tapped the table and nodded towards Koon, and play continued.

Sean Rafael limped from the cutoff and Richard Gryko called on the button. Gergo Nagy called from the small blind and Joni Jouhkimainen raised to 40,000 from the big blind. Only Rafael and Gryko called.

The K7A flop was bet by Jouhkimainen for 46,000 and Rafael folded. Gryko stuck around and the J was turned.

The pot stood at 228,000 and Jouhkimainen bet 80,000 with Gryko making a quick call to see the 9 complete the board.

Jouhkimainen checked the river and Gryko bet out pot for 388,000. Jouhkimainen didn't take long to give up his hand, giving Gryko a good chip up.

Weisman Pressures Martirosian

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dylan Weisman opened to 28,000 from the cutoff and Artur Martirosian called on the button. Lou Garza defended his big blind and the players were taken to the 2A9 flop.

Garza checked to Weisman, who bet 32,000 and only Martirosian made the call.

A 5 turn prompted Weisman to bet 175,000 which saw Martirosian push his cards into the muck.

With some 75,000 in the middle to the KQQ flop, Jason Koon check-raised from 25,000 to 50,000 and Farid Jattin called in the cutoff. Koon's bet of 50,000 on the J turn was paid and he then checked the shorter stack of Jattin on the 7 river before checking.

Jattin had some 125,000 behind and opted to check back, getting shown the K10104 by Koon. That was beaten by Jattin's AKJ3 thanks to the kicker advantage.

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Eelis Parssinen raised to 20,000 and Josh Arieh defended the big blind to the A73 flop. Arieh jammed for the last 17,000 and Parssinen sigh-called with the words, "I don't have a good hand."

Josh Arieh: A1086 All in
Eelis Parssinen: KQJ9

The 2 turn locked up the double for Arieh to make the 7 river a formality.

Jeremy Ausmus

Alex Foxen got the action started with a raise to 28,000 from the cutoff. Jeremy Ausmus called in the next seat over on the button before Jeremy Druckman raised the cost to enter to 120,000 from the small blind. Foxen folded, but Ausmus called.

The 2Q9 flop led to a pair of checks to bring the 6 turn.

Druckman checked again. Ausmus was not checking a second time, as he announced pot. As Ausmus was cutting out the chips for his bet, Druckman saved him the time as he folded to yield the pot to Ausmus.

Karakitukov Knocks Down Guerra

Level 6 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Lautaro Guerra limped from under the gun and Veselin Karakitukov, who was sitting to Guerra's direct left, raised to 27,000. Guerra called and the pair saw the 9J9 flop.

Guerra check-called a 19,000 bet by Karakitukov and they were taken to a 3 turn. Both checked to see the 3 fall on the river and Guerra checked again. Karakitukov bet 54,000 which sent Guerra into a small tank. After around a minute, he opted to fold.
