Boomshakalaka

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Michael Teifel open-shoved under the gun for his stack of 1,700,000. Action folded to Nicholas French in the cutoff, who called all in for his 540,000. Big blind Donald Cherry, who covered both, thought for a moment before French told him "you're drawing dead." Upon hearing that, Cherry let his cards go.

Michael Teifel: 55 All in
Nicholas French: A7

"I've never lost with this hand," claimed Teifel, and it seems as though the streak will continue, as the 1022J5 river gave him a boat to double.

"Boomshakalaka!" shouted Teifel as he leaped up from his chair.

Harthcock Cracks Kings to Stay Alive

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Noah Harthcock
Noah Harthcock

Kenneth Baime raised to 240,000 from late position only for Noah Harthcock in the next seat to three-bet all in for 845,000. Action came back to Baime who snap-called.

Noah Harthcock: A3 All in
Kenneth Baime: KK

No help for Harthcock on the 1010J flop but when the A peeled off on the turn he steamed into the lead. No Kx to save Baime on the 9 brick of a river and Harthcock was shipped the pot for a double-up.

Luna Min-Click Folds

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Ben Yu opened to 245,000 from early position. Manuel Luna then raised on the button, putting in not enough chips for a raise, hence being held to a min-raise of 370,000. On his left, Sumit Kumar moved all in for 2,200,000 from the small blind.

It folded back to Yu, who took quite some time before coming to a decision for his stack, which was very similar to that of Kumar. Eventually, he let his cards go, and Luna did the same, showing the A in the process.

Kumar responded by showing the A

Some Chip Updates

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Ranjith Wins the Race

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Brett Radu moved all in for 870,000 under the gun, and Krishnavilas Ranjith called all in for just north of 200,000 on his left. All other players folded, and the two went off to a runout.

Krishnavilas Ranjith: Q10 All in
Brett Radu: KJ

Radu had the lead, and kept it on the 104K flop. Ranjith then spiked two pair on the Q turn, but Radu had plenty of outs with an open-ender. The brick 2 river kept Ranjith in the lead, as he lived to fight another day.

Zvi Eliminates Etheridge

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Brian Etheridge moved all in from the button for 980,000, and Yoav Zvi called from the small blind.

Brian Etheridge: 62 All in
Yoav Zvi: A4

The board brought 10K5K5, and two pair with an ace kicker won the pot for Zvi.

James Spikes the Bullet to Stay Alive; Leaves Burgin on Fumes

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Action folded to James James who open-jammed all in for 515,000.

It came around to Blake Burgin in the big blind who after much debating to himself made the call.

"I'm hoping you have ace-King and it's a race" said Burgin.

"I only looked at one card" came the response from James as he revealed his cards.

James James: A8 All in
Blake Burgin: 77

Not the flop Burgin wanted to see of 52A to send James into the lead. Burgin got no help on the 10 turn nor the 6 river and James was pused the pot for a double-up and Burgin was left with a bowl of rice.

Brackett Shoves

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Joshua Nowakowski limped in from the cutoff, and Brian Brackett did the same from the button. Big blind Valentin Farkas then opted to squeeze, picking 500,000 as his sizing. Both opponents called.

On the 3210 flop, he carried on with a bet of 525,000. Nowakowksi folded, but Brackett did no such thing, announcing "all in," and pushing forward his stack. Farkas snap-folded.

Action was picked up with big blind Daichi Ueki all in and at risk against middle position opener Luis Genel.

Daichi Ueki: Q2 All in
Luis Genel: AJ

Genel improved to top-top on the 6J4106 runout, and knocked out his opponent without a sweat.

Kovalchuk Scoops a Monster for the Chip Lead

Level 27 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Vladimir Kovalchuk opened to 300,000 from late position and action folded to Luke Dainton in the cutoff who four-bet all in for 4,100,000.

It came back to Kovalchuk who thought for a while and made the call to put Dainton at risk.

Luke Dainton: AK All in
Vladimir Kovalchuk : 99

The flop came 237 and gave Dainton additional flush outs to go along with his pair outs. Nothing changed on the J turn and when the river bricked out with the 8 Dainton was sent to the rail whilst Kovalchuk raked in the massive pot to soar over the ten million chip mark.
