Scott Seiver Doubles Through Niall Farrell

Level 10 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Scott Seiver raised to 35,000 from the cutoff, Niall Farrell three-bet from the small blind to about 150,000, Seiver four-bet shoved for 823,000, and Farrell called.

Seiver: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Farrell: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The board came down {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}, no help to Farrell, giving Seiver the double.

Meanwhile, Ari Engel recently busted and Lauren Roberts reentered.

Tilston Doubles on Rivered Two-Outer

Level 10 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

From the hijack, Doug Polk opened to 27,000 and Keith Tilston moved all in from the button for his final 205,000. The blinds folded and Polk immediately called.

Polk: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Tilston: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop thrust Polk into the lead and, when the {4-Clubs} arrived on the turn, Tilston would need to spike one of the final two nines in the deck to stay alive.

The dealer burned and turned the {9-Diamonds} on the river to see Tilston strike gold with his two-outer to stay alive in this tournament with over 440,000 in chips as Polk dropped to 1.5 million.

Li Preserves Stack

Level 10 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

David Peters was all in from the big blind when we got to his table, on a completed board of {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}. Yuan Li was trying to decide whether to call off his remaining 210,000 from early position. After a few minutes of thought, he decided on a fold.

The players at the table seemed to agree it was likely a good one.

Polk Turns Straight on Tilston

Level 10 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Keith Tilston opened to 26,000 holding {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Doug Polk called in the big blind holding {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} and Polk checked to Tilston who continued for 40,000. Polk called and, when the turn landed the {6-Diamonds}, he checked again.

Tilston pushed out a bet of 100,000 and Polk responded by moving all in for 1,462,000 as Tilston entered the think tank.

After roughly two minutes, Tilston folded his his pair and straight draw and slipped to 231,000 while Polk climbed to 1.7 million in chips.

Nice Run Out Secures Colman the Double

Level 10 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Dan Colman opened the cutoff for 27,000 and small blind Dietrich Fast called. Big blind Martin Jacobson squeezed to 112,000 and action was back on Colman. He shoved all in for 670,000 and Jacobson snap-called after Fast had folded.

Dan Colman: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Martin Jacobson: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The window card was the {A-Clubs}, followed by the {10-Diamonds} and {7-Spades}. The {A-Diamonds} on the turn seemed inconsequential since Colman was already in the lead, but proved helpful as the {Q-Spades} hit the river.

Both players made a full house, but Colman was the one coming out ahead.

Action at Table 704

Level 10 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
James Chen
James Chen

Niall Farrell had what appeared to be a four-bet to 156,000 in front of him in a blind battle with Jake Schindler. Schindler made the call from the big blind, seeing a {4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop. Farrell put out a bet of 100,000 and Schindler quickly folded with a sigh.

Just a bit after that at the same table, Ari Engel bet 42,000 in the small blind into a pot of 120,000 on a {6-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop. James Chen called from under the gun. The turn was a {j-Spades} and Engel checked. Chen bet 150,000 and Engel called. Both players checked when the {a-Diamonds} hit.

Engel showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} but had been outdrawn on the river by {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.
