Kabrhel Doubles Through Petrangelo

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 45,000 from under the gun, Martin Kabrhel three-bet to 100,000 from the cutoff, Petrangelo four-bet shoved for effectively 444,000 and Kabrhel called all in.

Petrangelo: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Kabrhel: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The board came down {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, safe for Kabrhel to double-up.

Ziegler Doubles Through Juanda

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Tobias Ziegler shoved all in from middle position for 179,000. John Juanda thought a bit and shoved from the small blind, chasing away Byron Kaverman in the big blind.

Ziegler: {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Juanda: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Juanda needed help and he did pick a straight up on the flop, as {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} hit the felt. The {8-Diamonds} and {a-Diamonds} didn't do it for him, though, enabling Ziegler to double up.

Juanda Folds to Schillhabel's Jam

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Stefan Schillhabel opened for a raise and then called a three-bet from John Juanda, in the cutoff on his left, to 150,000. The flop came {5-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and Schillhabel checked. Juanda bet 100,000, and Schillhabel shoved all in. Juanda thought for about a minute and folded.

Hellmuth Busts Smith

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

Ivan Luca opened the hijack to 44,000 before Phil Hellmuth three-bet the cutoff to 102,000. Big blind Dan Smith counted out his chips and eventually moved all in for 280,000 total. Luca folded right away, and Hellmuth called, having Smith covered.

Dan Smith: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Phil Hellmuth: {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop opened the door for some split pots, but the {7-Spades} made things even worse for Smith. The river {3-Hearts} completed the board and Smith was eliminated.

The two hugged it out for a bit before Smith departed.

Schillhabel Clocked

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

We found Stefan Schillhabel in the tank and on the button with the board reading {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Byron Kaverman had put a bet of 350,000 into the pot, which contained over 800,000 chips already. Haralabos Voulgaris called for a clock, and the tournament supervisor made his way over. Voulgaris said it had been over three minutes, so the 40-second clock was put on Schillhabel.

A little after the 10-second countdown started, Schillhabel mucked.

Jonathan Jaffe

Jonathan Jaffe, a part-time dolphin trainer and poker pro, shoved his last 163,000 to the middle from middle position. His neighbor Mustapha Kanit called from the hijack. The cutoff, button, and both blinds all folded.

Jonathan Jaffe: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Mustapha Kanit: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Jaffe doubled.

Hellmuth Shoves on Smith

Level 11 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Phil Hellmuth
Phil Hellmuth

Dan Smith bet 140,000 from the button on a board of {7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Phil Hellmuth woke up with an all-in check-raise for Smith's remaining 430,000.

"Not feeling chatty anymore, Phil?" Smith said with a sigh after some thought.

He mucked {k-Spades} face-up.
