Hal Rotholz mentioned he would have called but it was instead Agostino Scozzari who looked up the preflop shove by Jun Beum Chun for 88,000 with the Q♣J♣. Those were live against the A♦10♥ of Chun but neither player connected with the K♣8♠8♥2♠4♠ board for the ace to play.
Heads-up on a board of 6♠8♠9♥K♠, Adrian Strobel bet 35,000 on the button. Morten Andersson then moved all in for 110,000 in middle position and Strobel called.
Andersson showed A♣9♠ for a pair of nines, but Strobel had 8♦8♣ for a set and already had Andersson drawing dead heading to the 6♦ river.
Paulius Vaitiekunas opened to 12,000 from under the gun. Jacob Amsellem called from one seat over and Renat Bohdanov did the same from the cutoff. Maria Lampropulos three-bet to 65,000 from the button and only Amsellem called.
Amsellem checked-raised to 80,000 on the K♥6♠4♦ flop after Lampropulos bet 28,000. The latter called.
Amsellem then emptied the clip and jammed for 352,000 and Lampropulos went deep into the tank for over five moments. In the end she returned her cards to the dealer and conceded the pot.
"Show the bluff," cried the other players at the table.
Amsellem offered a card to Lampropulos and she turned over the 3♠ which drew some "oooo's."
Amsellem then showed the 3♥ to show he had taken the ambitious line with just a pair of threes.
Ceyhan Berand opened to 12,000 and Christophe Panetti called. Leon Sturm then squeezed to 50,000 in the cutoff and Zaki Hanami cold-called on the button, Berand called and Panetti folded.
They checked the 10♠4♦3♣ flop and Berand then bet the 3♠ turn for 35,000, only Hanami called. Berand bet another 75,000 on the K♣ river and Hanami tank-called.
"Queen high," Berand announced before reluctantly revealing his Q♥J♠. Hanami won the pot with the 9♦9♠ to leave Panetti somewhat surprised.
Christian Dressler opened to 13,000 from the hijack. Adrian Mateos and Viktor Blom called him from the cutoff and button. Christian Rudolph also came along from the big blind.
Action checked to Mateos on the Q♣7♥4♥ flop. He bet 15,000 and only Rudolph called.
Rudolph then led out for 55,000 on the 3♦ turn and Mateos decided to stick around.
Rudolph then check-folded to a bet 123,000 on the 8♦ river.
Iman Ghashayar had three-bet to 35,000 before Daniel Lakerveld cold four-bet to 75,000. The action folded back to Ghashayar, who took a moment before shoving all in for 246,000. Lakerveld immediately called with a slightly covering stack and the cards were tabled.
Iman Ghashayar: A♦K♣
Daniel Lakerveld: Q♥Q♦
"A fun sweat," Lakerveld commented in his native language before the J♠J♣10♦ flop was dealt. Lakerveld's still held on the 6♦ turn, but the K♥ saw Ghashayar river the higher pair and he raked in his double-up.
Meanwhile, Lakerveld was left with around six big blinds.
Matas Cimbolas raised to 14,000 under the gun and Ioannis Angelou-Konstas called in middle position. Dmitrijs Prohorovs then moved all in for 165,000 on the button.
[Removed:435] in the big blind asked for a count before calling. Cimbolas also gave it some thought before mucking, while Angelou-Konstas quickly got out of the way.
Dmitrijs Prohorovs: 10♥10♣
[Removed:435]: A♠A♣
Prohorovs had shoved right into Anastasakis' aces and watched helplessly as the K♥2♥5♦2♦9♠ board didn't provide him any help.
This table, which also included Leon Sturm, Vivian Saliba, and Alex Peffly, broke immediately following this hand.
The A♦A♠9♠5♣ turn brought with it a check from GGPoker qualifier Andras Nemeth and a bet of 34,000 by Fabian Gumz. What followed was a check-raise to 101,000 by Nemeth and Gumz went deep into the tank.
Eventually, the clock was called on Gumz, who folded within the thirty seconds of extra time.
Hen Rosilio demanded from Nemeth to show a bluff as that was good for the game.
"Maybe for your game it is, but for my game ... " Nemeth grinned back while raking in the pot. The Hungarian has continued to add chips and now sits on two times the average.
