WSOPE Colossus Winnner Michal Schuh Bubbles Main Event

Level 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Michal Schuh
Michal Schuh

After hearing of the unlikely double-up on the feature table, Michal Schuh looked despondent as he was forced all-in from the big blind.

As the dealer dished out the cards, Schuh asked for a round of folds but found no such luck as Dmytro Stetsiura and Gaspare Sposato limped in from the hijack and small blind.

The two active players checked the action down to showdown for the final board to read J42K9.

Stetsiura accidentally showed his cards early and tabled A3. Schuh had yet to take a look at his cards and when the tournament director came over to tell the players to get the cards on their backs, Schuh turned over the 2, meaning he had at least a pair. A second heart would also give him a flush.

Sposato tabled J7 for a pair of jacks. Schuh needed to make two pair to survive.

Schuh rolled over his second card, the A, which confirmed him as the 2024 WSOP Europe Main Event bubble.

Schuh quickly exited but it hasn't been a bad series for the retired pro. Schuh topped the field in this year's WSOPE Colossus for his first bracelet and €171,350.
