Karlic Finds a Call to Bust Salerno

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Gerald Karlic
Gerald Karlic

Elia Salerno three-bet to 35,000 in the cutoff and was called by Vikrant Mangal in the small blind and Gerald Karlic under the gun.

The flop came A64 and Salerno bet 35,000. Both opponents called and the Q fell on the turn. Salerno then moved all in for 176,000.

Mangal quickly folded, but Karlic went into the tank. A few minutes went by before another player at the table called the clock.

"Still same hand? Ridiculous table," Martin Kabrhel, looking up from his phone for the first time in a while, said.

Karlic eventually called and Salerno showed 86 for a pair and flush draw, while Karlic had AJ for top pair.

The river was the 2 and Karlic held on to send Salerno to the rail.

"Slow roll. I would've done the same, but I would've taken six more minutes for maximum pain," Kabrhel told him.

Andrusca Surrenders to Asmolov on the River

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Timofey Asmolov
Timofey Asmolov

Around 240,000 was already in the middle as Timofey Asmolov and Vlad Andrusca went to the turn on a board of 3Q89. Asmolov then bet 100,000 from the small blind.

While Andrusca was considering the decision, Asmolov offered to show his cards if he folded. Tablemate Marcell Csata objected and claimed they shouldn't be allowed to discuss the hand. A tournament official had to be called over to resolve the issue.

"It's no problem," Andrusca said.

"I'm okay with it if they have no issue," Csata replied, and the matter was dropped. Andrusca then called and the 4 fell on the river.

Asmolov moved all in and Andrusca, with around 120,000 remaining, let out a loud sigh and quickly folded. Asmolov offered to show, but Andrusca turned him down.

Savino Flops Two Pair to Crush Zisimopoulos' Kings

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Georgios Zisimopoulos
Georgios Zisimopoulos

Georgios Zisimopoulos opened the hijack to 13,000 and Florian Thumm called on the button. Iago Savino also came along from the big blind.

They saw a flop of J46 and when it got to Zisimopoulos, he made a continuation-bet of 21,000. Thumm called, then Savino pumped it up to 60,000. Zisimopoulos three-bet the flop to 105,000, which got Thumm to quickly fold.

Savino wasted no time in moving all in, and with around 110,000 behind, Zisimopoulos made the call for his tournament life.

Georgios Zisimopoulos: KK All in
Iago Savino: 64

The disappointment was evident in Zisimopoulos' body language as he was behind to two pair, but there was still a runout to sweat where he could catch up. Unfortunately for him, there would be no catching up as the Q7 runout meant his kings were no good.

As soon as the dealer fanned out the 7J4 flop, Rozenbaum overbet jammed for 347,000. Pazma, went deep into the tank for roughly five minutes. In the end. Pazma slammed in the call for almost half of his stack.

Shay Rozenbaum: AK All in
Lukas Pazma: KJ

Pazma had come to the right decision with top pair, as Rozenbaum just had ace-high and was drawing thin.

The 10 on the turn offered Rozenbaum with a straight draw, but the 2 river was brick. Rozenbaum hit the rail, and Pazma's stack grew to around 1,300,000.

There was a three-bet to 41,000 in front of Johannes Franz out of the small blind and Zoltan Szarka on the button then four-bet to 95,000. Franz went into the tank and then moved all in for Szarka to beat him into the pot.

Nicholls Sent Home by Gude

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Kai Nicholls
Kai Nicholls

On a flop of 828, Matthias Gude had 30,000 plaecd out in front of him and Kai Nicholls had jammed for around 120,000. Gude thought for a while before electing to make the call to try to eliminate Nicholls.

Kai Nicholls: 77 All in
Matthias Gude: 99

Gude had made the correct call with pocket nines, as he had Nicholls' two sevens in bad shape with two cards to come. There was no miracle seven on the 10 turn or 5 river, and Nicholls headed home a little earlier than planned.

Hans Bosman was all-in and at risk with the AK and well ahead of Marek Tomes with the AQ.
