Karlic Drills the River to Double

Jonas Lauck made it 160,000 from the hijack before Gerald Karlic three-bet jammed for 980,000 from the button. Lauck called when the action got back to him.

Karlic was in rough shape against the pocket nines of Lauck and needed to find an ace to survive.

The dealer produced a runout of 7♣8♠6♦4♠A♦ to give Karlic an ace on the river to win the pot, and doubled up through Lauck.

Kabrhel Manifests a "Casino Royale"

"Do you want to bet that you want last an orbit? €1,000,000. Put some money on the table," Martin Kabrhel told Ivan Banic, who offered to shake his hand and make the bet.

"I want to see money on the table," Kabrhel added. He then raised to 165,000 in middle position and Bastian Gallitzendoerfer called in the small blind.

"Don't do anything stupid. I have other targets," Kabrhel told him, pointing at Banic. The flop came K♣10♣Q♣. "If I have 80% of a Royale, I bet," he said before putting in 95,000. Gallitzendoerfer called.

"Jack of clubs," Kabrhel said, and the dealer indeed turned over the J♣ on the turn. Kabrhel stood up from his seat and raised his arms in the air in triumph before getting a warning from the dealer. "I'm celebrating. The best dealer. This is for you," Kabrhel said, handing the dealer three yellow 5,000 chips from his stack.

He ended up checking back to the 6♦ river, and both players checked again. Gallitzendoerfer showed A♠2♠ for a straight, but Kabrhel had A♦6♣ for a flush to win the pot.

"What are the chances? I manifested," Kabrhel added.

Pidun Squeezes Out Value from Neugebauer

Max Neugebauer raised to 160,000 from the hijack and only Daniel Pidun called from the cutoff.

Both players checked the 10♥3♥4♠ flop to see the 7♠ fall on the turn. Neugebauer checked again and Pidun fired out for 180,000. Neugebauer stuck in the call.

The 7♦ completed the board and Neugebauer checked. Pidun bet 325,000, and after giving it some thought, Neugebauer called.

Pidun showed the winner with 6♠6♥ for a pair of sixes as Neugebauer mucked A♥6♦ for ace-high.

Daniel Pidun raised to 180,000 under the gun and Jonas Lauck called in early position. Artem Kobylynskyi then three-bet to 660,000 in middle position and Pidun moved all in. Lauck folded, but Kobylynskyi called for 1,165,000.

Kobylynskyi had picked up aces and was a big favorite to double up as the A♠6♣2♦ flop improved him to top set. The 2♥ turn gave him a full house, while the river was the 2♣ and he doubled up.

Robert Ashelm raised to 215,000 in the hijack before Claudio Di Giacomo three-bet to 625,000 in the cutoff. Ashelm called and the flop came K♣4♥2♠.

Both players checked to the 7♥ turn, where Ashelm bet 140,000. Di Giacomo called and the A♥ fell on the river.

Ashelm then bet 425,000, and Di Giacomo quickly called. Ashelm showed J♥J♠, but Di Giacomo had Q♣Q♥ to win the pot.

"Wow. How is it possible not to get all in preflop?" Martin Kabrhel said.
