If I already have an account at the room that is running the Freerolls, can I still play?
The Team PokerNews WSOP freerolls are exclusive to new PokerNews depositing players only.
What are the requirements to enter the Freeroll?
Each room has different requirements for entering the freerolls. Some may require as few as 100 raked hands. In addition, keep in mind that many of these rooms are hosting multiple freerolls, so you could deposit once, and have up to five different shots at a WSOP seat, an a place on Team PokerNews.
Can I win more than 1 seat?
You can only sit in one seat. If you are lucky enough to win one seat, that is enough. Team PokerNews seats are not transferable, and have no cash value. If you win a second freeroll, the seat will go to the second place finisher.
I already signed up through PokerNews. Can I play in the Freerolls?
The freerolls are for new players only.
They are telling me I am not eligible, but I have completed all the steps? What should I do?
We will certainly help you correspond with the room in question, but your eligibility is strictly between the online poker room, and you. PokerNews has no control over the online room, no access to their statistics, and as such, no responsibility in the matter. You must determine your eligibility with them. We strongly suggest you fulfill the requirements well in advance of the freeroll. Five minutes before the freeroll begins is not the time to try to determine your eligibility.
I don't want my experience recorded. Do I have to participate in Team activities?
Of course, we would like everyone who wins to participate in Team PokerNews We think this gives players a really unique chance to build their profile in the poker world, and add a lot to what is already a really incredible experience. Having said that... certainly you can do what you want. You can participate to the level you want to.
