Lisa Santy Eliminated in 9th Place ($15,973)
Lisa Hamilton raised to 40,000, but Lisa Santy moved all in behind her for 171,000. An unexpected re-shove for not much more from Kim Rios in the small blind and back around to Hamilton, who considered it for some time but eventually gave it up. On their backs.
Santy:
Rios:
"C'mon baby, give me some luck," pleaded Santy. and indeed there was a glimmer of hope on the flop.
Flop:
Another glimmer of at least a chop on the turn...
Turn:
"Spade me, baby," begged Santy of the poker gods.
River: a bricktastic
Thus we lose Kim Santy in ninth place. -

Pot Not Taken Down Preflop Alert
A flop!
Lisa Hamilton raised to 36,000 and our first preflop call came from Angel Pedroza in the cutoff. It didn't get much further than that, though -- Hamilton bet out 60,000 on the
flop and Pedroza gave it up there. -

Lisa Hamilton - what's in a nameRunning Good
It is interesting to note that exactly six Lisas started Day 2 yesterday, and a frankly impressive three of them have made final table: Lisas Hamilton, Parsons and Santy. If we make it down to three runners and all of them are Lisa, it will be a very impressive achievement indeed.

Whodunnit
A few more hands in, and we are no closer to seeing a flop: the players are currently taking it in turns to steal the blinds and antes with a late position raise. In the style of Cluedo:
- Lisa Parsons, in the cutoff, with 32,000
- Lisa Hamilton, on the button, with 40,000
- Dawn Thomas, in the hijack, with 36,000 -

A New Dawn
No messing from these ladies -- Lisa Parsons raised to 32,000 from the button, only for small blind Dawn Thomas to reraise all in. Not as much action as we could have hoped for, though -- Parsons folded, and Thomas showed her
for her troubles. -
