Hasan Habib has finally arrived to the tournament an hour and a half late.
Not to be outdone, there has been no Phil Hellmuth sightings as of yet. Will he parachute in through the roof of the Amazon Room? Maybe ride in on a silver donkey? We'll have to wait and see... -

McNiff Takes Pot Without Showdown
Evan McNiff raises from under the gun to 1,800. Jean "Prince" Gaspard is in the big blind and makes the call. The flop comes

Neither player wants to turn over their cards and they get in a staring match, trying to will the other to show their hand first. Prince gives up after a few awkward moments and tosses his cards into the muck. McNiff takes down the pot without having to show the table what he held. -

Seiver Soars, Montgomery Moves On

Devilfish Folds a Flush

A big hand just went down between Michael DeMichele and Shawn Buchanan. After some preflop back-and-forthing, the pair went to the flop having built a pot of 7,800. The flop came
, DeMichele bet 5,500, Buchanan raised to 12,000, DeMichele reraised to 29,500, Buchanan reraised again to 85,000, and DeMichele committed his last 3,000 or so chips to make the call.
DeMichele turned over
for top set, while Buchanan tabled for middle set. The turn and river -- -- brought no case jack for Buchanan, and DeMichele claimed the massive pot.
DeMichele is up to 196,000, while Buchanan is now at 83,000. -

Back in Black... and with a Beard
If it weren't for his omnipresent beaded necklaces, we wouldn't have recognized Andy Black either. The Irishman has grown quite a bushy beard, inspiring some choice commentary from Mike Matusow.
"Andy Black! They roll you out of a cave in Pakistan?" quipped Matusow.
"Haven't heard that one yet," replied Black.
"Did you decide that you won't shave until you win a tourney? In four years your beard will be on the ground. I'm going to buy you a razor at the break!" he bellowed with a laugh.

Rockets Serve Batista
Chad Batista raised to 1,200 from middle position, and it folded back around to Samdor Namjan who called from the small blind. Ted Forrest emitted a "okay-why-not" chuckle, and called as well from the big blind.
The flop came
. Both blinds checked, Batista bet 2,625, Namjan called, and Forrest skedaddled. The turn was the 
. Namjan again checked, Batista bet 6,600, and Namjan made the call.
When the river card fell, the
, Namjan quickly tossed out a single dark green chip for a bet of 25,000. Batista didn't think too long before tossing out his own matching dark green chip. Namjan showed pocket eights, and Batista turned over to claim the pot.
Batista is up to 176,000, while Namjan has slipped to 62,000.
