    Unscheduled Dinner Time

    Players have indeed moved to the TV table, but since their dinner break was scheduled for right after this level, it has been decreed dinner right now instead.

    Back in an hour.

    Champlin - not champ
    Champlin - not champ

    Benny Champlin Eliminated in 11th Place ($51,755)

    Benny Champlin shoved for his last 319,000 under the gun and picked up exactly one call, from Glen McCaffrey. Showdown.

    Champlin: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}
    McCaffrey: {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}

    Flop: {A-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}

    Champlin: "Alright!"

    Turn: {J-Hearts}

    River: {4-Hearts}

    Champlin: "Oh, jeez."

    Champlin didn't heart that board, and out he busts in 11th place. We will now be redrawing and heading over to the feature table; please stand by.

    Jaffray and hat - very happy together

    Jaffray Happy About Something

    Alan Jaffray and his brand new 2,000,000 stack raised to 65,000, only for Panayote Vilandos to shove for 598,000. Jaffray thought about it, smiling vaguely all the while. He shook his head slightly, like he could see into the matrix or something -- and then folded with a quick, "Nice hand."

    Preflop Action Fizzles to More Or Less Nothing

    Dean Hamrick raised to 86,000 under the gun and found a caller in Glen McCaffrey in the big blind; all very exciting. However they proceeded to check down the {5-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades} {10-Spades} board, and McCaffrey took it down with pocket sixes. Not so exciting after all.

    Gualter Santos - 12th Place
    Gualter Santos - 12th Place

    Gualter Santos Eliminated in 12th Place ($51,755)

    It was folded around to Gualter Santos in the SB who opened for a raise to 90,000 before Alan Jaffray moved all-in. The Brazilian got up out of his chair with an obviously tricky decision that he made by calling with {A-Clubs} {10-Clubs}.

    Jaffray tabled {2-Hearts} {2-Clubs} before the board came {3-Spades} {8-Hearts} {2-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}. The set on the flop good for Jaffray to eliminate one more and it also puts him up to 1,925,000.

    Nice Flop

    Ernst Hermans open-shoved for 215,000 from the button, and after a pause got a speculative call from big blind Andy Seth.

    Hermans: {A-Diamonds} {9-Spades}
    Seth: {K-Spades} {7-Hearts}

    Board: {9-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {3-Hearts} {6-Hearts}

    Hermans back up to 500,000.

    Kevin Recovers

    Shortly after handing much of his stack to Dean Hamrick, Ronnie Kevin open-shoved from the button with {A-Hearts} {4-Clubs} and got called by Benny Champlin in the big blind holding the far superior {7-Clubs} {7-Spades}.

    Nevertheless, board: {3-Spades} {J-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {6-Spades}

    Kevin doubled to 550,000, and Champlin was down to 380,000.

    Blinds for Santos

    Gualter Santos shoved for a frankly still fairly hefty 500,000 or so. David Lerman in one of the blinds announced, "I'm gonna wake up to aces," but clearly didn't as he passed. Andy Seth passed too and Santos picked up the pot, to shouts of, "VAMOOOOO!!!" from the little hardcore of Brazilian pros including Andre Akkari at the rail.

    Round: 24 Blinds: 15000/30000 Ante: 4000

    Hamrick Takes Another

    The river was out and gave us a board reading {9-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {7-Spades} {5-Diamonds}. Dean Hamrick led out for 120,000 and was called by Ronnie Kevin before revealing {8-Hearts} {9-Hearts} for two pair. It was good as Kevin folded leaving himself pretty short.
