    Eise Doubles Fritz

    Zack Fritz opened to 125,000 from the cutoff only to have Mike Eise ship it from the big blind.

    Fritz called tabling his {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} to be in great shape against Eise's {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

    The {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts} changed little, but when the {7-Clubs} fell on the turn, Fritz would have to sweat it out to stay alive.

    The river would land a black card, but it would be the repeater {7-Spades} to give Fritz the double up to over one million as Eise slips to 3,370,000 in chips.

    Avi Braz eliminated in 7th place
    Avi Braz eliminated in 7th place

    Avi Braz Eliminated in 7th Place ($93,622)

    Mike Eise opened to 150,000 from under the gun, and found two callers in Avi Braz in the small blind and Rico Ramirez in the large.

    The flop of {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts} saw a bet of 175,000 from Braz, then a fold from Ramirez before Eise made it 675,000 to go. Braz then pushed all in and Eise quickly made the call to see the cards tabled.

    Braz: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
    Eise: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

    With Braz drawing to only a Jack or running cards to make a straight, the {6-Hearts} would leave him drawing to one of the three remaining Jack's in the deck.

    The river would fall a legless {3-Diamonds} to see Braz exit to the rail in 7th place for a $93,622 payday as Eise climbs to 3,900,000 in chips.

    Jose Luis Franco eliminated in 8th place
    Jose Luis Franco eliminated in 8th place

    Jose Luis Franco Eliminated in 8th Place ($83,180)

    Rico Ramirez opened the pot to 125,000 before Jose Luis Franco shipped it for 600,000 total.

    The blinds passed and Ramirez pondered only slightly before making the call.

    Franco: {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
    Ramirez: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

    In dominated shape, Franco would find some hope of a flop that gave him an additional eight outs to go along with his three three's when it dropped {9-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

    However the {J-Hearts} put Ramirez in the lead, but actually changed little in the hand as Franco gained three Queens for a chop-draw.

    The river would land the {7-Hearts} to see Franco hit the rail in 8th place for a $83,180 payday as Ramirez extended his chip lead with 4,670,000 to his name.

    Fritz Doubles

    Zack Fritz pushed the last of his 205,000 into the middle and was called by Rico Ramirez from the small blind before Jason Potter moved all in from the large.

    Ramirez sat in the tank for over two minutes before folding his {5-?}{5-?} face up as the two remaining players tabled their hands.

    Fritz: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
    Potter: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

    With Fritz in a desperate position, and having the worst of it, he would manage to strike gold on the {8-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} board to double through to 645,000 as Potter slips to under two million.

    Grumpy time for Potter

    Potter Pouts at Missed Chance

    From under the gun, Jason Potter opened to 125,000 before Jose Luis Franco pushed all in for a little over 600,000.

    It slowly folded round the table back to Potter, who quickly called.

    Potter: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
    Franco: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}

    The flop of {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} brought about cheers from Potter's rail, and when the {3-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Franco was looking at the brinks of elimination.

    However, the {3-Clubs} would fall on the river to see the pot chopped up - much to the disappointment of Potter and his group of railbirds.

    Berger Upgrades The Value Meal

    With everyone folding round to Barry Berger in the small blind, he pushed his last 215,000 in chips into the middle and found a caller from fellow blind Zach Fritz.

    Berger: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
    Fritz: {Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

    The board ran out {8-Spades}{9-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to give Berger the double to 445,000 as Fritz slips to just over 200,000 in chips.

    A (Not So) Quiet Double for Ramirez

    Rico Ramirez opened from the cutoff to 275,000, only to have Mike Eise in the big blind push all in for over four million.

    Ramirez didn't think twice, turning over his {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} to signify a call and be in a race against Eise's {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

    The rail of Ramirez, that numbered in the teens, all stood from their chairs and pressed hard against the metal support rail screaming excessively.

    The flop was slowly dealt out {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{J-Spades} and even more screams were let out - somehow exceeding the ones previously.

    "C'mon baby!" yelled one supporter as the {4-Spades} landed on the turn, and when the {8-Clubs} fell on the turn, Ramirez 2,275,000 chip stack increased to a whopping 4,600,000!

    As the Tournament Director reminded the rail of the excessive celebration rule, Eise looked down at a still healthy 1,650,000 in chips.

    Mike Zulker eliminated in 9th place
    Mike Zulker eliminated in 9th place

    Mike Zulker Eliminated in 9th Place ($77,778)

    With action on Jason Potter in the hi-jack, he opened to 100,000 only to have a short-stacked Mike Zulker push all in on the button. Potter called and the cards were tabled.

    Potter: {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
    Zulker: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

    The flop fell down {K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} to give both players a pair, and Zulker the stonger kicker of the two.

    When the turn landed the {6-Diamonds} Potter gained a flush-draw to add to his outs to eliminate Zulker.

    The rail pressed hard, the crowd stood and the dealer burn and turned the {J-Clubs} to give Potter a superiour two-pair and send Zulker to the rail in 9th place.

    As a dejected Zulker exited the tournament floor to collect his $77,778, Potter raked in the pot to move to around 1,600,000 in chips.

    Zulker Clipped

    With the action folding round to Mike Zulker in the small blind, he bumped it to 125,000 preflop and Mike Eise made the call from the big blind.

    The flop fell down {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and Zulker made it 250,000 to go, with Eise making the call.

    The turn landed the {3-Diamonds} and Zulker check-called 325,000 to see the {9-Diamonds} fall on the river and a bet of 500,000 follow from Eise.

    Zulker sat in the tank for over two minutes before making the call, only to muck when Eise rolled his {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

    As Eise raked in the pot to move to 4,260,000, Zulker slips to 460,000 and change.
