July 12 was Day 47 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

It was a quieter day, so long as you weren't too near Will Kassouf's table-talk shenanigans. The Main Event rolled on with Kassouf busting out before being escorted out.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Main Event's went on to reach the final three tables with Kenny Hallaert still in the chip lead.

There were originally two bracelets scheduled for Day 47. However, one received an additional, unscheduled day of action and will return later today.

So, the only new braceleteer on Day 47 was Kasparas Klezys, who earned his very first gold WSOP bracelet by winning Event #91: $1,500 6-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha for $280,214.

Elsewhere at the series, Mike Matusow had a good Day 1 in the $10,000 6-handed event, the Lucky 7's held its last starting flight, and the last Hall of Famer's had their bounties collected in Event #92.

Event #94 $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Championship kicked off yesterday attracting 448 entries over the course of Day 1.

That number can still go up as late registration continues into Day 2. However, as it stands, there is currently $4,022,730 in the prize pool.

Benjamin Chalot (552,000) leads the field with poker legend, Mike Matusow (430,500) close behind in second place.

This pair leads a field that still contains dozens of big names, including Stephen Chidwick (156,500), Artur Martirosian (216,500), John Juanda (116,000), and Daniel Negreanu (130,000).

Among those who entered the event on Day 1 and exited before close of play were Shaun Deeb, Alex Foxen, Erik Seidel, Scott Seiver, Viktor Blom, Chris Moorman, and Kristen Foxen.

The survivors return at 1 p.m. local time today when the blinds will be 1,000/2,500.

Day 2 of Event #92: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty No-Limit Hold'em failed to wrap things up on Day 47 of the series. Instead, an additional day was added to the schedule at the last minute.

Five players remain in the event, but none of them are Hall of Famers, meaning there are no more bounties to be collected.

When the five players return they are looking at a first-place prize of $311,349 culled from a prize pool of $2,206,585. This was generated by a field of 1,115 entries.

Rob Wazwaz leads the final five with 11,825,000 chips. He took the chip lead late in the day as the field was approaching the three-table mark.

Barry Greenstein, John Juanda, and Tom McEvoy were the only Hall of Famers left in the field on Day 2. McEvoy had the honor of holding on the longest, but all three were eliminated by the close of play.

Day 3 will restart at noon today (July 13). Blinds start at 100,000/250,000 with a big blind ante of 250,000.
