2025 WSOP Day 25: Isaac Haxton and Alex Foxen Bag In PLO High Roller

Day 25 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas saw three new gold bracelets find three new wrists on which to rest.

Matt Vengrin won a bracelet in the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event. Vengrin has three previous runner-up finishes in WSOP events, but this was his first time taking a WSOP event down outright.

Samuel Rosborough and Dennis Weiss also claimed their first U.S. WSOP titles (Weiss has previously won a WSOPE event).

Rosborough won his bracelet in the $1,500 NLH Freezeout, beating Asher Conniff heads up and Weiss won the $25,000 PLO High Roller, emerging victorious from a tough final table that included poker legend Phil Ivey.

The biggest tournament of the day was Event #57: $50,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller, which played its first 12 blind levels, winnowing down the field of 148 entrants to just 62.

The high buy in attracted a ton of huge poker stars to the field. The top ten chip count alone included players like Alex Foxen (1,525,000), Sean Winter (1,175,000), and Isaac Haxton (1,130,000).

By the end of the day, Ka Kwan Lau led the field with 2,700,000 in chips. Biao Ding was in second place with 1,765,000.

The list of other players who found a bag on Day 1 includes Phil Ivey (525,000), the all-time tournament earnings leader Bryn Kenney (395,000), online poker legend Viktor "Isildur" Blom (380,000), and live poker legend Erik Seidel (365,000).

Day 2 starts at 1 p.m. at which time blinds will be 10,000/15,000 with a big blind ante of 15,000.

There is still time to buy a stack, with late registration remaining available until the end of level 13. Level 13 is expected to end around 2:15 p.m.

Event #57: $50,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller

The Millionaire Maker Hits 7,577 Entries

Day 1c was the third of four Day 1 flights for the Event #53: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em.

The day's action added another 3,517 entries to the event — the biggest flight so far — bringing the total number of entries to 7,577.

This massive field made for a bigger spread of chip counts than on previous days with Francisco Benitez out at the extreme of the bell curve. He bagged a stack of 1,243,000 in chips, the biggest of the tournament so far. Behind him, two-time bracelet winner Ilija Savevski bagged 979,000 in chips, while the third-place finisher barely bagged a third of Benitez's stack with 433,000.

Lots of big names entered the event, looking to win a million and a bracelet. These included Jessica Vierling (281,500), Daewoong Song (251,000), John Hennigan (248,000), Sergi Reixach (244,000), Dan Shak (175,500), Matt Glantz (163,000), Punnat Punsri (145,500), Jose "Nacho" Barbero (118,000), Sean Troha (108,000), original member of the Hendon Mob Barny Boatman (90,500), Martin Kabrhel (53,000), and Main Event winner Qui Nguyen (53,000).

Day 1d begins at 10 a.m. Vegas time on June 21.

Dennis Carlson Leads Final Seven In $1k Seniors Event

Day 4 of Event #48: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em began with 19 players remaining from a field that started out with 7,575 entries.

Dennis Carlson (49,250,000) and Brett Lim (44,825,000) lead the field by a wide margin with Jose Boloqui chasing up in third with just 18,425,000.

Play ended with the elimination of Ron Fetsch in eighth place after he lost most of his stack to Jason Reels (18,400,000). Fetsch earned $85,872. There is $653,839 up top from a prize pool of $6,938,700.

The $1k Seniors will return for Day 5 at 2:00 p.m local time on June 21 when the remaining seven competitors will play down to a winner. The blinds will be 250,000/500,000 with a 500,000 big blind ante when the action resumes.

The live stream for the final table will start at 3:00 p.m. on a one-hour delay.

Event #48: $1,000 Seniors No Limit Hold'em Championship Final Table Chip Counts

$10,000 Event Down To A Four H.O.R.S.E Race

Just four players remain in Event #55: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship chasing the $452,689 first-place prize.

Day 3 saw a final 16 — including Huck Seed (16th), Cary Katz (15th), Todd Brunson (12th), and John Hennigan (11th) — whittled down to a final four.

These four are the last players standing from a 207-entry field that included some of the best poker players in the world.

Of the remaining four, Kristopher Tong is in the lead with 7,145,000. He holds the majority of the chips on the table. All three of his opponents's stacks combined come to 6,280,000 between the three of them.

Maximilian Schindler (2,680,000) is in second, followed by Brad Ruben (1,305,000), and Jason Mercier (1,295,000).

The action yesterday ran late, so an additional day was added to the schedule. The final four will return at 2 p.m. to play down to a winner. The blinds will start at Level 26 with limits of 120,000-240,000.

Event #55: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship Final Table Chip Counts/Results

Benny Glaser Chases Third Bracelet Of The Series In $2.5k Mixed Triple Draw

Day 2 of Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw has concluded with 15 players remaining from an initial field of 463 players.

Benny Glaser (1,115,000) is in the top ten, chasing his third bracelet this series and eighth overall. Glaser won two bracelets this series already. His victories came back-to-back in the $1,500 Dealer's Choice and $1,500 Mixed Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo.

The remaining players are chasing their cut of a $1,030,175 prize pool, of which $208,552 is earmarked for first place.

Some other players that are still in contention include Michael Balan the current chip leader with 2,225,000 in his stack. Balan is followed by Johannes Becker (2,110,000) in second. David "Bakes" Baker (1,990,000) is in third.

The actor James Woods also found a stack of 1,005,000 for Day 3.

All the players who return at 1:00 p.m. on June 21, will have earned at least $10,495. The action restarts on Level 23, with blinds of 20,000/40,000 and limits of 40,000/80,000.

What to Expect on Day 26 of the 2025 WSOP

Today (June 21), will see one new event kick off, two trundle on through their mid-games, and three reach conclusions.

The Event #58: $3,000 Nine Game Mix adds an extra game to the classic 8-game combo at 2 p.m. local time. This mix is made up of no limit hold'em, limit hold'em, pot limit Omaha, seven card stud, Omaha hi-lo, razz, stud hi-lo, 2-7 lowball triple draw, and no limit 2-7 lowball single draw.

At 1:00 p.m., the $1,500 Millionaire Maker returns for Day 1d — the fourth and final Day 1 flight of the event. With more than 8,000 entries already, this event is shaping up to be massive.

The $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller will return with 62 players still in the field. They will play down to a final table on Day 2, which also starts at 1:00 p.m.

Then three events are set to play down to a winner today — Event #48: $1,000 Senior's No-Limit Hold’em Championship, Event #55: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship, and Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball.
