Peco Pays Back Parker

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Peco Stojanovski was dealt a brutal beat at the hands of John Parker earlier.

But now he had got him back.

Stojanovski had opened it up from the cut off and Parker moved all in from the small blind.

Stojanovski called having 321,000 behind - around 100,000 more than Parker.

Stojanovski: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Parker: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The {3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board gave Stojanovski a sweat, but it was all clear as he was back in safety zone, while Parker is now the short stack.

Zhou Finds Big Double

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

After a raising war with Rory Young, Steven Zhou found himself all in for 348,000 holding {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} against {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Young had the button and was getting aggressive and it ulimately resulted in a Zhou double up as the board ran out {4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}.

Young still has plenty of chips, but now Zhou looks very threatening with 11 remaining.

Good Night to Adrian in 12th

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Adrian Attenborough has been bounced to the rail with Jazz Mathers continuing to assert his authority on the make up of this final table.

Attenborough opened for a raise, Mathers three-bet and Attenborough moved his short stack all in. Mathers made the call with {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} to be racing with Attenborough’s {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}.

The flop was a bare {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} but the {K-Spades} turn card shot Mathers to the front. Attenborough would need a queen but the {7-Clubs} wasn’t it. Attenborough had a fantastic Aussie Millions series and looks a player to watch in future as he finishes in 12th place.

Big Double For Adrian

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Adrian Attenborough was down to 205,000 when he looked down at {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} in the small blind. Rory Young had opened to 35,000 from early position and promptly called a shove from Attenborough.

It was looking like it would be all over as Attenborough was up against Young's {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

But then the board ran out {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and the double went to Attenborough.

Back To Play... Until Who Knows When

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The players are back from their extended 30-minute break.

There are 12 players remaining.

This day was scheduled to be played down to the final nine, but there are talks from the staff at The Star that we will be playing it out tonight.

Right now, that doesn't matter too much, what matters is getting to the final nine and then we will take it from there.

Level: 21

Blinds: 8,000/16,000

Ante: 2,000

Stacks on The Break

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Here are the approximate chip stacks of the 12 remaining players while on break.

Parker Miracle

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

John Parker has a guardian poker angel.

He was all in for 290,000 holding {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and had ran into the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} of Peco Stojanovski.

It was looking like we would be down to 11 players.

But then the {j-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades} board would see a dramatic river saving Parker's tournament as he made Broadway.

Spano Spins Home in 13th

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The bustouts keep coming as we steamroll our way towards the ANZPT final table. Unlucky 13th place goes to Robert Spano who collided with Nathan Sawyers on a board of {2-Clubs}{k-Spades}{K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades}.

Spano had checked to Sawyers who bet 65,000 before Spano check-raised all in. Sawyers asked for a count as someone else around the tabled yelled out “All in, call” thinking that the action was complete.

“Not yet, but I’m going to,” toyed Sawyers before tossing out the required chips.

Spano showed {J-}{3-} for the bottom end of the full house, but Sawyers showed {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for kings full to claim the pot and send Spano to the rail.
