Parker Doubles Through Rory

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

John Parker was down to 148,000 when he moved all in preflop holding {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

The big-stacked Rory Young called with his {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

Parker was up on his feet as the dealer spread out a safe {10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts} board.

Despite losing this hand, Young has had a productive last few orbits and is still once of the chip leaders.

Redhouse Sends Karam Home in 14th

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The eliminations continue at a rapid pace.

Short-stacked Karam Bahl was the player to go home in 14th place.

He was in the small blind and all in holding {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} against Joshua Redhouse in the big blind, who held {q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The board ran out an unfortunate {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and it was all over for Bahl.

Redhouse continues to increase his chips stack.

Bahl's Turn to Double

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Karam Bahi is using up all of his nine lives in this tournament. He’s just landed another remarkable double up with a life-saving river card keeping him alive.

Bahi was all in with {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} against Nathan Sawyers’ {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. The board ran out {4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} to see Bahi pull a three-outer on the river. He leapt to his feet and screamed triumphantly as he now has his head above water with a stack of 115,000.

Gill Send Baars Packing in 15th

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Oliver Gill was in the small blind holding {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} when he three-bet jammed. It was Peter Baars who had opened the action from middle position and Gill had him covered by a small amount. Baars called and put himself at risk.

Baars: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Gill: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Gill got out of his seat, but then sat back down.

"I'ts not even a sweat for me," joked Gill.

But it was up until the turn as the {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} was good for Murray.

"Bink!" said Gill before the river card was dealt.

River: {q-Clubs}

Just like that, Baars was sent home in 15th and we were down to 14.

The action is fast paced at the moment and shows no sign of slowing!

Redhouse Rising as Murray Gone in 16th

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Murray Roach looked down at {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and after a raising war with Joshua Redhouse, his stack of around 700,000 was in the middle.

Unfortunately for Roach, Redhouse had {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}- no help for Roach as he was sent home in 16th place.

Redhouse is the new chip leader!

Polias Home in 17th

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Nicholas Polias has been sent crashing to the rail in a huge clash with Andrew Michael. The chips went all in on the turn with the board reading {2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Polias held {a-Clubs}{A-Spades} but he’d run into the set of Michael who held {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

The river bricked the {K-Spades} to see Polias eliminated.

Gill Finds The Double

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

When the action folded to Peco Stojanovski in the small blind, he would move all in.

Oliver Gill was in the big blind, so Stojanovski was moving in for effectively the 130,000 in Gill's stack.

Gill peeled his cards, first looking at an {a-Clubs} and then finding a {10-Clubs}.

"Call!" shouted Gill as Stojanovski.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Gill had doubled up.

Double Time For Spano

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

After a small lull in play, Robert Spano moved all in from under the gun for his last 84,000. Peco Stojanovski made the call and tabled {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} to be racing with Spano’s {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

With two players at the table saying they had folded threes, Spano didn’t want to fall behind, but he was able to maintain the lead on the board of {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}. He doubles to 180,000.

Knight Gone in 18th

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

As the players returned from the break and formed the final two tables, it would be Sean Knight who would be next to depart.

Oliver Gill moved all in from the small blind for around ten big blinds with {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Knight called all in for less from the big blind with {A-Spades}{10-Hearts} to have Gill dominated.

“A jack is coming. It’s not even in doubt!” exclaimed Gill.

He was right.

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to see Gill spike a jack to eliminate Knight in 18th place. Gill moves up to 185,000.
