The turn was the and both players checked. The river landed the and the big blind fired out 1,000 into the middle. Veenhuyzen pondered for a moment before making it 2,500 to go. The big blind grimaced and let his hand go as Veenhuyzen flashed for the bluff!

Casey Kastle and Sam Jessop saw a flop of where Kastle led out for 500. Jessop then popped it up to 1,600 before Kastle moved all in for 8,800.
Jessop thought for a minute or two -- long enough for Kastle to comment, "We're gonna need a clock". As soon as Kastle said that Jessop made the call tabling for middle set! Kastle raised his eyebrows as he flipped for a bare flush draw.
The turn was the and river the sending Kastle to the rail as Jessop now holds a clear chip lead with 42,000 chips.
Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier laughed it up earlier today, but things haven't been going his way so far. Michael Comer opened from the cutoff for 600, with Grospellier calling out of the small blind. Both players checked the flop when it came . On the turn , Comer made a half-pot sized bet that Grospellier check-called. Both players checked through the river , with Comer turning over for top pair as he did so. That was a winner.

Edward Sabat had gone all the way to the river, holding . With the board reading , Sabat's opponent bet 2,500, putting him to a decision. After some thought, he decided to call.
"Nice call," said Sabat's opponent.
"Yeah?" asked a somewhat surprised Sabat, showing his hand.
"Yep," his opponent said as he mucked. Sabat now has about 20,000.
"They don't do table service here?" asked one disappointed player. "You can't order drinks?"
Chris Grigorian also seemed surprised by the restrictions on what can be consumed at the tournament table. "They don't let you smoke while you're playing?" he asked.
Another player was overawed by his competitors. "There's a ton of world-class players here," he said, looking around.
One woman chided world-class player David Saab that he wasn't paying enough attention to what was going on. "It's true," said Saab. "I'm tired. That's my excuse. I haven't started drinking yet." Nor will he, as long as he's in the tournament.
David Saab raised to 250 from under the gun before Van Marcus raised it up to 850. The table folded around and Saab moved all in for 8,250. Marcus went into the tank.
Marcus says "I normally snap-call you with this, but after seeing what you did in the cash game I know you got it" before folding face up. "Fold of the tournament that!" said Marcus.
"Easy fold!" laughs Julian Powell who had wandered by after just being eliminated from the tournament.
Saab mucked his cards as Marcus continued "Ah, when he doesn't show that means he has them!"
Saab quipped "I could have A-2 off..!"
Marcus retorted, "If you show me A-2 off I'll give you 10,000 US right now!"
