Josh "JJProdigy" Field did lots of work in the early levels to build his chip stack up to a respectable level, but it's all come undone. He opened for 550 chips before the button player three-bet to 1,625. That folded the action back to Field, who put in the third raise to 4,550. The button player wasn't going to back down from this game of "chicken," raising all in for 13,600 total.
Field went into the tank. He clearly had a big hand, but the raises from the button suggested that the button had a monster. Field finally opted for the call, tabling . He was unhappy to see the button show . The flop was all spades, , but neither player had a spade in his hand. Field's opponent dragged the pot after the turn came and the river gave him a completely unnecessary set.
Field is down to 16,000 chips and will now have to start the rebuilding process.
Catching the action on the flop of Jim Sachinidis led out for a bet of 1,500 and was put all in by John Overbeek. Sachinidis made the call, tabling to be ahead of Overbeek's .
The turn fell the and river the to see Sachinidis double to 9,200 chips as Overbeek still sits with around 35,000.

Rahme checked to Tony G, who made it 5,000. Thinking for a moment Rahme made the call, and then mucked his hand when Tony tabled for a set of sevens.
"You should have bet the turn," Rahme was heard to remark. Tony G is starting to build his stack at 29,500. Rahme on the other hand is down to 19,000.
After a deep run in Event #6: $1,150 No-Limit Hold'em with Rebuys, Ryan Hurst was struggling in today's Main Event until he found a well needed double-up.
All in on a flop of , Hurst held the lead with against his opponent's . Things would remain that way with the turn and river falling the and . Hurst would double to just over his original starting stack with 22,000 in chips.
While Day 1a of the Main Event hums merrily along, the six remaining players from Event #8 -- the AU$100,000 No-Limit Hold'em Challenge -- have taken their seats at Table 10, the secondary feature table. Powell down, but not out
Julian Powell is now under half of his starting stack. In the last hand before the break, Powell opened to 700 from under the gun and found three callers from middle position, the button and the big blind. On the flop, the big blind checked and Powell fired 1,100, both the middle position and button players folded, and the big blind called.
With position at the turn Powell made it 1,600 and was check-raised to 4,000. After counting off his stack, Powell eventually folded, leaving just 8,400 behind. He'll need to reverse his fortunes to get his Main Event back on track.
