Karita And Modra At It Again

After their earlier rumpus, Sean Karita and Hamis Modra have locked horns again but it was for the final time.

Karita moved all-in from UTG for 10,900 and the button pushed behind him for 12,500. Modra called both players and the cards were on their backs.

Stead-y as he Goes

Mahrenholz Busted

Karl Mahrenholz has been eliminated. He had lost most of his chips when he 3-bet preflop holding {Q-Hearts}

against an opponent who called with {A-Clubs}

. The latter open-shoved on a {Q-Diamonds}

flop, Mahrenholz called but couldn't catch a jack on the {5-Hearts}

turn or

river.

He has since gone missing from his table and we're assuming he was unable to recover.

Rubie Shines On

The action folded around to Brendon Rubie who open-shoved for 20,000. The opponent on the button called, tabling {a-Spades}

and was ahead of Rubie's {a-Diamonds}

.

It was back and forth between the two when the flop and turn was spread {q-Clubs}

, but Rubie managed to strike gold - the river {q-Hearts}

giving him chips and a huge pot.

The opponent is still in the tournament, but doesn't appear to be too happy. Rubie is all smiles, now on 42,000 in chips.
