Chris "Moorman1" Moorman in the House

The current world number three online player Chris "Moorman1" Moorman is in the field today.

Moorman who hails from England, has been as high as the top ranked online player in the world. The 23 year old has crushed the online game, winning the 2009 world points leaderboard, but he is yet to breakthrough in a big tournament live.

Still he has sponsorship as a member of the Doyle's Room Brunson Ten that will see him spend more time on the live circuit this year.

If he's going to breakthrough in the Aussie Millions Main Event he wil need to turn things back around after falling to 13,000 in the early stages.

This Sukks

Billy Sukkar, cousin of Joe and Tony Hachem, is down to 7,700 in chips after a major confrontation with an unidentified player at his table.

We only caught the tail end of the hand, with the board showing {J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. There was about 24,000 in the middle and Sukkar had checked to his opponent.

After a serious minute or two in the tank, Sukkar's opponent spoke up, "OK, I check," tabling a pocket pair of jacks for a full house.

Sukkar mucked, surrendering the hand, but with 77 big blinds, he's got plenty of ammo to work with.

Mini-bluff Fails

Jonathan Karamalikis is down to 16,700 early after a minor bluff attempt was foiled by an unknown opponent.

On a board showing {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades}, action was checked to Karamalikis who fired an 800 bet. His opponent made the call, sending the action to the river -- {10-Spades}.

Another check sent the action back to Karamalikis who fired a 1,700 river bet. His opponent looked him up holding {A-Spades}{4-Spades} for two pair, jacks and fours. Karamalikis showed just {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a missed gutterball straight draw.

Early Oops for Obst

James Obst is down to 12,200 early after an unlucky turn card gave his opponent a better two pair.

Holding {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} on a {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} board, Obst called his opponent's 2,000 bet on the turn, and another 1,500 bet on the river ({J-Diamonds}), only to see his nemesis turn over {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} for top two.

A Few More Names

There's another fun table up in the high limit area of the Crown Poker Room featuring Ben "CNT_CRUSHER" Delaney, Shawn Buchanan, Robert Wang and Clonie Gowen.

A few more names in the main poker room area include Kelly Kim, Jan Suchanek, Brendan Edmonds, Sam Capra, Peter Ling, Andrew Hinrichsen, Mitch Carle, Andrew Demetriou and Matthew Pearson.

Shipping the Justice Early

Andrew "Adgee" Jeffreys is keen to turn around a rough Aussie Millions to this point, and he has made the perfect start today.

On a {6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Jeffreys fired out 350 from the cutoff, with the player on the button making the call.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and Jeffreys made it 600 to go. The button raised to 2,000 in response and Jeffreys called.

On the river {9-Diamonds} Jeffreys fired 6,000 and the opponent called. Jeffreys rolled over {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to ship the justice with a rivered straight. His opponent turned over {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a set.

Adgee moves up to 30,000.

Family Affair

We have another six tables in action up here in Studio 3 this afternoon, a decent walk from the main poker room. Spread across them are brothers Joe and Tony Hachem, sitting just a few feet away from each other on separate tables. On the other side of the room, their cousin Billy Sukkar is sharing a table with fellow Aussie James Obst.

We've also got Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis, David Bach, Tyler Netter and the 3rd place finisher from the $100,000 Challenge, Bill Jordanou.

Some Notables

Just on a quick run around a part of the room we've seen Clonie Gowen, Josh "JJ Prodigy" Field, Andrew "Adgee" Jeffreys, Joel "Strong Play" Dodds, Jai Kemp, Jan Suchanek, Michael Pinzone, and Rayan Nathan.

More to come soon.

Fun Table

We've already spotted one table that we're keen to keep an eye on. There should be plenty of highlights with Josh "JJ Prodigy" Field, Andrew "Adgee" Jeffreys, and Joel "Strong Play" Dodds all sitting together.
