Over a string of four consecutive hands over on Tony G and Jessica Dawley's table, not one of the hands made it to a flop, but all four reached a showdown (of sorts):
Hand #1: Tony G raises to 1,900 and everyone folds. The G shows pocket queens.
Hand #2: Ben Savage raises to 3,000 and everyone folds. Savage shows Big Slick.
Hand #3: Ben Savage raises to 3,000 and everyone folds. Savage shows pocket jacks.
Hand #4: Jessica Dawley raises to 2,800 and a player on the button three-bets to 5,800. Dawley folds and shows pocket fives. The button shows pocket kings.
Mark Vos opens to 2,100 in middle position and is called by one player before the player in the cutoff decided to shove for 31,000. Carl Booth on the button looked down at aces and shoved all in as well.
The player in the cutoff had jacks, and didn't improve. Booth is now up 90,000 in chips.
We just checked in with Mark Vos to see how he is going. Vos told us he's just slowly bleeding away. He looks pretty bored too. He has 35,000 at the moment.
Jan Suchanek opened to 2,200 with about 11,000 behind and Brendan Edmonds moved all in from the big blind covering Suchanek. Jan Suchanek called and showed down the , which was well ahead of Edmonds .
The flop was and Suchanek is up to 23,200, while Edmonds has dropped to 25,000.
Although he busted shortly after the dinner break, we thought we'd share this interview with Tony Hachem with you, as he had an interesting story to tell involving a banana, a car and a police officer:
On the flop, Andrew Demetriou in the big blind made it 2,100 and was called by an unknown player under the gun before Steve "The Big Show" Topakas made it 5,500.
There was no action for The Big Show as the other two opponents folded.
Topakas open-mucked for a monster flopped straight and a straight flush redraw.
Stefan Streifeneder raised UTG and Kent Hunter moved all in for 9,000. An unknown player wearing a yellow shirt, who we shall call "yellow" then moved all in over the top, and Streifeneder folded.
Hunter showed down pocket tens, and "yellow" pocket jacks. The board yellow bricked all the way to the river and Hunter is now out.
John Juanda has just doubled up through Jai Kemp to climb back up to 20,000 in chips.
Peter Rho opened the pot with a raise to 2,000 and action folded around to Kemp in the cutoff who made the call. Two folds later, the action turned to Juanda, who moved all in for a total of 8,275. Rho folded and Kemp made the call:
Kemp:
Juanda:
"That's a good flop," said Juanda, as the dealer spread the first three community cards: .
Juanda then took the lead when the fell on the turn and he improved even further when the fell on the end, giving him a king-high straight.
"Nice hand, John" offered Kemp after the hand, which left him with 19,000 in chips.
Oliver Gill has taken a bit hit to his Aussie Millions aspirations after John Dalessandri doubled through him.
Dalessandri had against Gill's . All the chips went in on the flop. The turn was all Dalessandri needed to take the hand. The bricking off on the river.
Dalessandri moves up to 53,000. Gill is gasping at 28,000.
