The turn was the and river the and Delaney can't find another spade as Buchanan doubles up to 11,000. Delaney is left with his starting stack of 20,000.
Catching the action on a flop of , Chris Odle led out with a bet of 2,050 from the big blind, before Andrew Jeffreys moved all in over the top from the button. Odle instantly called and Jeffreys was in a little bit of strife.
Odle:
Jeffreys:
"Whoops!" exclaimed Jeffreys, "We need something pretty special here."
But it wasn't to be as the hit the turn and the filled up Odle on the river. He moves to 35,000 as Jeffreys moves to the bar.
An interesting pot just went down between Josh "JJ Prodigy" Field and an unknown player.
We caught action on a flop. The opponent had just checked to Field from the big blind. Field took the invite betting out 1,200 chips only to be check-raised to 3,500. After some thought Field made the call.
The turn was the and the big blind check-called a 2,400 chip bet from Field.
Both players gave up on the pot on the river checking. The showdown revealed all, with Field turning over for a pair of threes, ace-queen kicker, just being trumped by the big blind's threes, ace-king kicker.
After recently doubling up Robert Wang decided to return the favour to Shawn Buchanan. Wang opened to 800 chips and was flat called in position by Ben Delaney. Buchanan moved all in from the big blind for 2,825 and Wang re-raised to isolate to 5,000. Delaney decided to get out of the way leaving the players to table their cards.
Buchanan:
Wang:
Wang would need help, that would not arrive. The board ran out to move Buchanan back to around 7,000 in chips.
John Myung is now sitting with just over 30,000 in chips after a recent double-up through Andy McCreedy.
On a flop, action is checked around the table to Myung who fires a 1,900 bet. Michael Marcos folds and McCreedy, next to act, makes it 5,000 to play. Philipp Gruissem gets out of the way and when the action returns to Myung, he moves all in over the top for a total of 14,125. McCreedy makes the call and a showdown ensues:
McCreedy:
Myung:
The turn and river then came , , counterfeiting McCreedy's two pair, sending the pot over to Myung.
A player from middle position raised it to 1,100 preflop. Sean Keeton made it 3,000 and the his opponent moved the rest of his chips (about 15,000) in the middle. Keeton double-fist-pump-snap called, tabling to have his opponent's dominated.
It was smooth sailing for Keeton on the flop but it was the turn that would get ugly as the fell.
The river was no help for Keeton and he doubled his opponent up as his chip count fell to 5,300.
